Rated 4 out of 5Â by Hoosier The fixtures fit in my 20+ year old Hampton Bay Track
I bought the 3-light track because it was a better value than buying 3 individual replacement lights. Only downside was I placed one fixture at the end of the old track(80s vintage) and I tried to move it to a different location on the track and it wouldn't budge - I had to use channel locks to spin it back out of the track...probably because it was the old track. I added more fixtures to my existing track since my old fixtures were 75 watt and these are 50 watts.

These lights filled my needs completely by being reasonably priced , easy to install , and provided the amount of light and flexability of direction that I required.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Bruce Great Value for a Light Fixture But Needs Some Help
Great value for a light fixture but there are two issues that need to resolved with the lights.
1 - Inside of each light fixture there is a silver "U" shaped ring clipped to the lamp socket wire used as a strain relief that needs to be removed to allow the light bulb and socket to seat properly. The use of a good pair of electrician's wire cutters and a strong hand will cut this loose.
2 - When installing the fixture onto the track make sure the top contact is facing the right direction and hitting the contact in the track.
If you take these two tips into account you will have an easy install.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by 1234km Modern and *fairly* easy to install
I installed 4 of these fixtures. I purchased and used a "live end connector" for 3 of them, and then used the included box for one. The live-end connector install was much easier and looks better and more streamlined--not sure why that isn't included in the kit. It is especially easy if you are replacing a track with a live-end connector--that is the way to go. Overall, installation was fairly easy and the lights look great--a huge improvement form the big 1980s cans that I had previously. *If you use the live-end connector, you have to infer the directions (easy if you are replacing) because they are not included in the box.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by John Low price, correctable flaws make this a very good value
In general this kit is of good quality and an excellent value, but it has two correctable flaws. First, discard the free bulbs that come with it, which produce uneven and dim lighting, and replace them with equivalent brand-name bulbs with a glass cover. The glass cover is needed for UV protection. Second, the U-clip on the wire inside the fixture is in the wrong position and prevents bulbs from fitting properly. Use two pliers or pliers and a screwdriver to loosen the clip and slide it up to the base of the socket, or remove the clip altogether.
