The 3-Light Aged Iron Outdoor Wall Lantern. 17.38 inches overall height, I mention the height with this because there is a smaller version that I do not have, seems to be of excellent quality. Durable, the housing is a great quality cast aluminum and textured as well. Mounting is set up for a standard junction box mount, brackets for mounting to the box included.
On this model there are three light sockets. The sockets are set up for the smaller candelabra style bulbs and base. You can use either incandescent bulbs or LED. Note that with the the LED bulbs they will barely fit against the center pole that holds the light sockets so be careful when you screw them in. I prefer the LED bulbs using 6.5 watts each putting out the equivalent of a 60 watt bulbs each. It does an excellent job of lighting and much cheaper on the electric bill.
The center pole inside with the sockets mounted to it swings freely within the housing thus leaving plenty of room to fit ones hand inside to screw in the bulbs. No dismantling to insert or replace them, no muss, no fuss. The bottom is open thus giving a nice light downward to light your way as well as ample room for your hand when a need to clean the fixture or change a bulb might be required.
I have a Mahogany hardwood door, the real thing, with a speak easy window, grated, with a rich rustic look including the heavy iron hinges and iron hardware construction decor. This light matches the theme nicely giving an old world appearance centered on durability and a country atmosphere. The light is more than adequate to light ones way, use keys for door entry, and identify any visitors.
This light does not have any extra trinkets such as motion detector or light sensing capability. It's a good old fashion on and off switch type light, though I suppose one could put a dimmer switch on their light control circuit if they wanted to and use appropriate bulbs in the fixture for that kind of an application. For me, this is 5 stars straight out of the box. Fixture itself comes fully assembled too! :o)

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SBUBandit Big improvement, impressive light
I have 5 of these. 3 small and 2 large. They replaced the ugly brass ones the builder used that were far too large for the house. These look great, and even with the house 100 feet from the road, the larger ones on the garage light up the entire driveway. I plan to switch the bulbs in the large units to LED, as the layout of my house makes it too easy to forget to turn them off at night, and I'm not keen on leaving 360W of light running all night.
Just a note, the base of the larger units is quite large, so pay attention to the size of the mounting plate when you install. I need to swap mine for some slightly larger ones when I do other work on the garage this summer.

Like many other I bought this light and the smaller motion version for the garage. The smaller motion light was very easy to install and looks great! This one had me stumped for a moment because, like others, the screws included are far too long. The include screws work if your bracket becomes a T shape but if its horizontal to the mounting bracket it won't work. As others mention, just buy a couple smaller screws to save yourself some time. Also these are candelabra bulbs so make sure you get those as well. 40 or 60 watt max.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Aroyals Looks absolutely beautiful on our newly sided house
We got these in both the large and small size to put up on our newly sided house and they look amazing. Husband tried to tell me these were too big for our garage but he admits they look fantastic now that everything it put together. The large are on the garage and the smaller ones are by the front and back doors. Very impressed with the amount of light even the small ones give off.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Cindy Attractive and reasonable price
We just bought 2 of these larger lights for our front porch and replaced our garage and patio (5) lights with the smaller version. I really like the look and the price was right. The installation would have been easy if the screws would have been the right size. My husband had to buy new, shorter screws to fit, which added extra time to the installation. Other than that, it would have been easy to install. Since I have only had them for a week, I can't comment on how durable they are. I had my first set of outside lights for 20 years before changing out.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Whittyswife Stylish, easy to install, good price
This light's style gave me the craftsman feel I was looking for, but with a little twist. The crackled glass gives it an old-world feel. This light turned out to be a great accessory for our front porch. The only thing I didn't realize when I ordered it was that it has an open bottom. I would have liked for the bottom to be closed to avoid having to clean out bugs and webs from time to time.

Bought these as replacements for the ugly, builder's grade lights on my garage. WOW! What an improvement. And not only do they look gorgeous even when not lit, but they light up the entrance to the garage as well as the driveway around it. I love them so much that I went back & bought the smaller ones for my front porch!

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by John IMPOSSIBLE to install!!
I have a PHD in engineering and I could not for the life of me figure out how to install the mounting bracket. It was positively ridiculous. It was completely emasculating for me to call an electrician (not to mention expensive)
