what color is the glass shades? white? off-white?

Exactly what color are the glass shades? White? Off-White? Also, is there a bulb available that gives off white light (not too "warm") so the light will look white and not yellow in this light fixture?

Does the hampton bay vanity light #25090 come in a 4 light version

Asked by: Anonymous
Yes it does. We thought of buying the 4 light but decided the 3 light gave enough light over a 58" vanity and was easier to install. After installation, we feel we were correct on both counts.

Good value. 4+ stars Here are some installation hints based on our experience: 1. Our fixture’s wiring exited the peripheral hole, not the center hole, an apparent manufacturer’s assembly error. I loosened the two ¼ inch nuts and was able to easily make the switch. 2. Our prior fixture did not use an outlet box; there was just cable exiting the drywall. So we needed to install a box. The only one that fit with our existing construction was a pancake box, a round box with a depth of ½ inch, the approximate width of the drywall. The supplied 1.5 inch mounting screws were too long for this box. I cut them to a length of 1 1/8 inch. 3. We mounted the fixture on the wall over a bathroom vanity. Wiring was awkward. It required standing on the vanity with the fixture on my shoulder, in order to use both hands for the connections. 4. Screw the mounting screws into the circular strap. Place a level on them before tightening the outlet box screws. 5. We used 100 watt equivalent LED bulbs. Eccosmarts were too long; they extended beyond the shades. Philips brand bulbs were shorter and worked well. 6. We originally mounted the fixture downward. However there was an objectionable glare off the sink, and the rest of the bathroom had very little light. We switched to the upward position, and this worked well. 7. Don’t tighten the screw shells too much. If you need to remove the shades in the future to clean them, you’ll find it difficult to loosen the screw shells.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow! We used this to replace an eight exposed bulb dressing room style fixture over our master bath's vanity. It looks so much better. The three 60 watt equivalent led bulbs I used in it give off much better light. The energy savings are substantial. And I can stand there to shave without breaking out in a sweat from the heat all those round incandescent gave off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great light! VeryHappy withthislight(and I'm very picky) appreciate that it does not obnoxiously hang over my flat mirror; modern and classic understated design. AddeD 60w led ecosmart bulbs g16.5 med base which are shorter than standard so bulbs are not unsightly. Installation was easy imo

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks nice. Install wasn't too bad Replaced the light in my bathroom they was probably put in sometime in the 80s the old mounting bracket look like it would work but it did not. After I changed that up everything went smoothly. Used some new LED lights and it puts out more light then the old fixture that had more bulbs.
