I have such mixed emotions about this product line. I have the lanterns, as well as a matching hanging light and one mounted on a lamp post. They look great, but rust VERY quickly. The lanterns I have on my deck under a slight overhang have lasted a few years before they started to rust. But the one over my garage and on the lamp post....I never saw anything rust this fast. They were shot in just over a year.
So I am hoping the new one I just bought will age more slowly, as I put a nice coat of high grade car wax (Glanz poly-carnauba) on the metal on this light to see if it helps.
Installation is easy. The screws with the finish caps which secure the light are just long enough, so make sure you put your wires neatly behind the light. Any bulk and you might have a hard time securing the caps on the screws. If you are not reusing any parts, the box contains everything you'll need, mounting bracket with ground screw, 2 mounting bolts/nuts to mount to your box, 2 screws caps to secure the light to the mounting bracket, and 3 wire caps. The light has 3 wires, white, black and ground.
About a 20 minute job, counting removing the old light mount.
This is a nice looking light overall. It takes up to a 100 watt incandescent bulb. The bottom is open and you can fit plenty of your hand in to change the bulb, unless you have huge hands.

Installed two dozen of these fixtures in a condominium community in June 2009 to replace rusty 15 year old lights....and now every one of these is rusting. The rust starts on the decorative curved metal piece at the top, and then starts on the "cap" at the top of the fixture..both of which are now badly rusted. Attached photo shows average amount of rust. Some are worse and some are better. The warranty does NOT cover finish. DO NOT BUY!

I bought these lights 4 years ago. ( I just found the receipt). We bought 7 lights for the exterior total. One of the lights recently just stopped working. We tested the wiring and it is the fixture that is broken. The warranty only lasts 3 years so we have to buy a new one. When we bought this light it cost 66 dollars. Now it costs $110.00 ! They look very nice and the finish has held up very well even exposed to rain etc. The number of bulbs are hard to keep up with unless you invest in the expensive longer lasting versions. The lights give off a nice glow and look good on the house. We will by buying the new light because it is still available. I am so glad it is still available because otherwise it would cost a fortune to replace them all. I gave it 3 stars for value because it should not cost 110 dollars. It is an 80 dollar light at best. I gave it 4 stars for quality because one of them stopped working.

Shipping damage occurs occasionally; this is when the customer experiences how well Customer Service performs. Home Depot quickly arranged for a return pick-up and replaced the light in just a few days. We were very pleased with the experience and are happy with the light fixture.

I bought 3 of these lights for my garage and front door. They have a great appearance and throw out a great deal of light. Easy to install and great look. I am purchasing 2 more for the back of the house tomorrow. I got these to replace the old black single bulb teardrop style lights.
Just make sure you have the correct size mounting block to mount these to as the mounting back plate is large.

Installed around 2009. After hunting in my local store for undamaged ones, I finally found two that were in perfect condition. Now, 4 years later one is rusting on the bottom of the top curved part. Both lights are under a porch, so they stay dry except when I clean the house a couple timesaver year.

These lamps are on their way out but they look great and were easy to install. I added 3 of them to the front of my house. I did add a photo-sensor for dusk to dawn operation on one of them at my garage. It works great. Very nice product especially since I got them on clearance.
