Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by RT No spare parts available, it's a throw away product
Pro: Nice looking light, easy to install and it works.
Cons Doesn't come with any bulbs and no replacement parts are offered by Home Depot/Hampton Bay.
It seems a law of nature that when a bulb burns out while changing it one of the little acorn nuts or screws that hold the top of the lighting fixture (called a hood screw in the Hampton Bay manual) drops into the grass never to be seen again. I bought this post lamp two weeks ago as a replacement and decided it might be wise to order some extras. After being forced to wade through the Home Depot website, you can't get to a dedicated Hampton Bay site, the link in the manual takes you to Home Depot, period, I called Home Depot customer service. After some discourse I was switched to Hampton Bay parts, on hold again, sorry, no replacement parts are available for a currently stocked 2 week old product. The only conclusion I can come to is this is considered a throw away product.
Approximately $40 is not a throw away price for me and why do they make it so difficult to even contact Hampton Bay? Yes, I know these are probably a standard machine screw thread but the originals are closed and brass to limit corrosion. Replacements are usually ferrous/steel and open; I would prefer an original lighting related part. But they don't sell them.
Home Depot is rapidly becoming my former DIY source.

I purchased three of these in January of 2014 to replace broken lamp fixtures on my deck and I have been very satisfied with the products.Installation was fairly simple. Just have some wire cutters, pliers and screwdriver. Their appearance after a year of weather and sun and they still appear good. Just a little rust on one lamp that is close to a water sprinkler. Note: the glass does spot up really fast and will set so best to use some glass polish or auto wax after installing otherwise be prepared to use some vinegar and the spots will come off. One other note: if you want your deck to light up like a ball park at night use the three 65 watt bulbs that are recommended. I wanted a more "tranquil atmosphere" so I used three 25 watt bulbs per lamp instead. The only reason I didn't give a higher rating is that the smaller panes one the bottom of each lamp are clear plastic as opposed to glass. Not sure why but unless you are right next to the lamp you will not notice.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Spackler1 Compared to some of the more expensive exterior lights this light is a winner. My friends could not believe I only paid a little over $30.00 for it. It looks and feels like it should cost 3x that. It really made an improvement in the exterior lamp post I had and the three 60wt bulbs included do a great job of lighting up the front of my house. My light was purchased in white but it also comes in black. I will definetly look for the matching porch light as well.
