Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 1234km Modern and *fairly* easy to install
I installed 4 of these fixtures. I purchased and used a "live end connector" for 3 of them, and then used the included box for one. The live-end connector install was much easier and looks better and more streamlined--not sure why that isn't included in the kit. It is especially easy if you are replacing a track with a live-end connector--that is the way to go. Overall, installation was fairly easy and the lights look great--a huge improvement form the big 1980s cans that I had previously. *If you use the live-end connector, you have to infer the directions (easy if you are replacing) because they are not included in the box.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by John Low price, correctable flaws make this a very good value
In general this kit is of good quality and an excellent value, but it has two correctable flaws. First, discard the free bulbs that come with it, which produce uneven and dim lighting, and replace them with equivalent brand-name bulbs with a glass cover. The glass cover is needed for UV protection. Second, the U-clip on the wire inside the fixture is in the wrong position and prevents bulbs from fitting properly. Use two pliers or pliers and a screwdriver to loosen the clip and slide it up to the base of the socket, or remove the clip altogether.

I own 3 sets of these lights. I've also installed 6 tracks total and changed bulbs a few times. There are no issues installing if you do it right. After connecting the bulb to the socket, pull the sheathed wire out of the housing from the back side of the housing. DO NOT simply shove the bulb and socket into the housing.
It only takes about 5 minutes to get all three lamps into their sockets, and then into the housing.
The only con is that the included bulbs are inferior (unsurprisingly, kind of like the cheap batteries you'll get with a TV remote). 1/3 bulbs were dim, 1/3 didn't light, 1/3 worked fine.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed unreliable wiring
Looks OK, but made cheaply. After I got the whole thing installed, the black wire came loose inside the connector block that sends current into the track. The light only comes on when you stand under it and wiggle the wire. No way to fix it. No clamp or screw to tighten. When I unscrewed and lifted off the cover I discovered the wire just sort of rests against the lead inside. Not soldered or anything. How do you take an installed fixture back to the store to get your money back? It's too late and too difficult.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by architect41 Track Display Lighting Kit
The product itself is well made and finished. It was a breeze to install, taking only a few minutes. The quality of light is perfect for our display application, and the light assembly itself is discreet, drawing little attention to itself.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by maddog45 Looks nice, works well and easy to install
I was looking to replace another track light and couldn't find the same item. This is a new style but looks very nice and it was easy to install. The design gave me the flexibility to cover the original ceiling wire feed. I had it installed in about an hour and that was standing on the breakfast bar!

Hampton Bay retrofitted its old MR16 fixture with newer GU10 lamps, which don't fit completely into the fixture. The result is that the lamp just hangs out of the fixture - looking incredibly stupid.
