Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Jarett Very Durable - Beware of Retuned Cabinets
These cabinets are very durable. They may look like a cheap white "Home Depot" Cabinets but the are built sturdy. The vinyl white wraps seems very durable and well put together. I am very pleased. I did however get a box that looked returned. Seemed fine when saw it in the store. I took it home and saw scratched on the front of it and the unit itself was cracked. Home Depot needs to do a better job with returns. This was the last one and i needed it now so really had no choice. It was for my laundry room so not a big deal. I also put 6 screws in each cabinet. The back is not made of hardwood so i would over kill the amount of screws just incase. All in all i was please with the quality for the price. A great add to a basic kitchen or a laundry room.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bert Installed these cabinets in our laundry room. Easy and affordable home improvement project
Installed these cabinets in our laundry room. Just completed some finishing touches to the sides of the cabinets and the results were as professional looking as any finished carpenter's work. Easy, affordable, and worth the time.

I rehab old houses for rental properties. I've been using these Hampton Bay cabinets for a couple of years. They look nice, ship fully assembled and include shelves and shelf pins. The doors are not pre-drilled for pulls so you have unlimited options. These are made from laminated fiberboard. Since they aren't made with them I normally glue 1-1/2" x 3/4" pine strips at the top and bottom interior of these wall cabinets to use as mounting points. It's probably not necessary but with tenants I feel they're more secure.

The overall construction of the cabinets is very good and robust. The "boxes" were all square and uniform in dimensions. Finishes and hinging were very good for modestly priced cabinets. The doors even come with bumpers affixed. Solid wood face frames make for a good appearance and better than expected soundness.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jimbo Product easy to install
Needed more storage for kitchen items like the mixer, the processor and the vacuum packager. Installed over the computer in the utility room. They were easy to install. Main problem was the house was built in the 40's and the lumber is real 2x4's. They are tough wood and I had a problem screwing the cabinets to the wall. I then used a drill and predrilled the screw holes. That's when it all came together. They look great and we now have extra storage.

We love the Hampton cabinets, especially since we are on a tight budget. However, once we got home, we were quite disappointed in the 2 wall cabinets we had picked out. They went in a corner, against a wall, one on top of the other, as a pantry. Being in the corner was good - there was a large scratch on the side of one. The other one had a 6-inch crumble of part of the top, happily, on the back. The good things are that, generally, they are a great product for the price, install easily, and look good. But in the future I won't buy ahead and have it waiting for me in the store - I will go to the store and check it out as best I can before I buy

The cabinets are fine, but they arrived damaged.
My installer had to return the original cabinets and exchange them for good cabinets.
This inconvenience cost me additional funds that should not have occurred.

Bought 10 of these (different sizes) for my new kitchen. Kinda scared cuz I thought maybe they would be cheap. NO WAY! They are fantastic. Doors are very sturdy, they look great, shelves are strong. Easy install. I am impressed!
