Answer:
Normally, most 30 inch tall cabinets come with 2 adjustable shelves. Hope this helps you. If you only need to use 1, then just remove the other one, if you need more then it is easy to just measure and cut to size.

Hi Russell,
I purchased 30x30x12 cabinets for my utility room. They are super nice ones. They have 2 shelves plus the bottom of the cabinet. Which gives you 3 shelves to put things on. You can buy extra shelves if you would need them. They are pre-cut to size.
Hope this helps you. Have a good one.

Answer:
The cabinets come with two shelves inside. And predrilled holes so you can adjust them. We landed up only using one shelf in each and were able to store the extra shelf on top of the cabinet perfectly. It fits without being seen.

I see that it says "composite" material but I suspect that is a fancy way of saying particle board. So is this a particle board cabinet?

Seems to be made out of dense chip board. Covered with a great and very durable vinyl wrap.

Answer:
They are made out of "compressed wood". It is not the particle board I remember. The trim on the front and the doors are made of wood. I bought mine 6 months ago and installed them in the utility room which is also my computer room. For the price they are very good cabinets and look very nice. Also easy to install. Hope I helped answer your question.

Answer:
Yes, the cabinets are made from some kind of composite particle board. The doors are a melamine vacuumed over composite substance, and the shelves appear to be the same with a vinyl veneer.
For the money I am very pleased with these cabinets. They function great, and look great in my laundry room.

Hi Mary,
The underside of the cabinet is not white. I have painted the underside white after first priming the veneer overlay. Looked fine with this added effort.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice cabinets Needed some cabinets for my laundry room and these worked perfectly! August 5, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Wall Cabinets Good value for money, nice touch with the adjustable shelves. Easily fitted. Easily damaged in shipping May 31, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Hampton Bay cabinet We purchased this wall cabinet to use in our bathroom. We added matching handles that we used on the base cabinets. It has blended in very well and is a good value for the price. The only thing is when aligning the doors there is a gap when they are closed that could be just a bit smaller, but it isn't a big issue. We would still recommend purchasing this cabinet. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Economy Cabinet I purchased four of these cabinets to use in my basement as kitchen overflow. My local store only had one or two in stock and they weren't in the best of shape. I ordered them online and waited. And waited. Initial shipping took a bit, and they were shipped by freight which required someone to be there. Just keep that in mind if you order online. For the price, these cabinets are fine. I wouldn't put them in a finished portion of a house. There was dried glue all over the inside of the cabinets and some on the outside. The overlay in the back of one was creased pretty badly. Given my usage and the fact that these were cheap, I didn't care. They'll hold stuff and that's all I cared about. A final issue, and this may be because of my lack of knowledge, but screw heads will be very visible in the back of the cabinets. So will the one that ties multiple cabinets together. August 16, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by DISAPPOINTED We purchased 19 cabinets in all. The two 30 inch wall cabinets we purchased were put together wrong. We didn't discover this until we had them hung on the wall and went the put the shelves in. The shelves are not level. After some checking of the cabinet we discovered when they were put together the one side was put on upside down causing the holes for the shelf pegs to be off almost an inch. We have decided we will fix the problem ourselves after the fiasco of trying to return 2 cabinets to the store. I am not very happy with the workmanship on these cabinets. After waiting 3 weeks for them to be delivered and paying over $3,000 you think they would at least be made properly. June 30, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor workmanship, low quality materials I purchased this brand cabinet based on the name and price. I was sadly disappointed with all eight of them. I didn't expect maple, but i did expect them to be assembled right. They all needed seams reglued and clamped. There was extra glue smeared on the doors and inside were it was visible. Never again. August 7, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Inexpensive and easy to install Pro: Easy to clean Easy to level door hinges Heavy MDF like doors Con: Cabinet box is particle board, glued and stapled Painted coating easily gouges or scrapes (during shipping) No touch up paint offered from Hampton Bay Drawer releases are quirky, design could be improved I reinforced inside the cabinet on top and bottom back with 2" strip of oak wood. (Glued and stapled in place) I drilled holes into the added wood to hang the cabinets to aide stability of cabinet structure. Once stuff is put into the cabinet, i.e. Dishes I wanted to know the cabinet wouldn't fall off wall with added weight on the particle board structure. I did the added wood strips on all the wall cabinets. Kitchen looks great with the white cabinets. Would recommend for any inexpensive kitchen remodel. Most cabinets were easily obtained at local store, some had to be ordered but were delivered in a reasonable time frame. Drawers in base cabinets are easily adjusted and open and close smoothly. August 23, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Fine if need something inexpensive The cabinet doors don't line up flush so you can see into the cabinet about 1cm from the outside. Also, the wood and paint used has a very strong chemical odor. I've have this installed almost a month and it still smells. August 16, 2016
