Just bought this and assembled today. Price was ok. Assembly was fairly quick except for one minor issue. There are 4 "M6x25" bolts that hold the support ring to the bowl. The bowl was "slightly" not perfectly round. Three of the bolts went in ok but the forth one was just a few millimeters short. Had to use a M6 x 30 bolt ( 5mm longer) and it worked just fine. Had no problem with installation of other parts.
The sides have decorative openings to let air in but there is no drainage hole directly in the bottom of the bowl. I will use a cover during the rain. Maybe I will drill a hole. It is light enough to pick up and move I give this 4 star for now (due to bolt issue and drainage hole)

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ginov2013 good fire pit
Had to replace my 7 yr. old pit and against my better judgement I purchased a lower cost pit from a competitor. I immediately returned it because the lid was warped and didn't fit the bowl...cheap/useless. After looking at this floor sample it was an easy choice even though it was more expensive. After assembling, its worth every penny. Better materials and construction; lid fit nicely onto an inner bowl ring, strong lower frame/leg assembly with plastic glides and with a 36" diameter bowl there is plenty of room for a blazing fire! I would recommend using a ratchet to assemble, cuts the assembly time in half.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JanE Great purchase!
We purchased this fire pit to replace an old one we had, after shopping around, found this one to be a good size and price. We first used it Thanksgiving weekend on our deck with our adult children. It was perfect....we roasted marshmallows. The decorative sides allowed the heat to filter out towards our feet. When the top was on there were no flying embers. Would recommend to also purchase a heat resistant mat 24x24 for under it because heat does radiate from the bottom and in Time could discolor the surface under the fire pit.

Had this one week. First the cover was bent and dented. #2 if the bottom is set facing you the round rings on side are not inline. In fact they are not even staggered, so looks just kind of "off" #3 and this is worse part, after just one week, the legs are starting to get that red running rust on them and stain my cement pavers. (Look at images I will post but site it so slow I cant upload.) Looks like the metal was not painted properly on legs. I am going to ask for refund.

This fire pit was easy to put together and is made with good quality materials. This is our 3rd fire pit that we have purchased over the years and I would say that this is by far the best one we have owned. We have had each of our previous fire pits for about 4 years each and I think this one will last even longer that the previous two. Love the size a design of this fire pit. We are very happy with it and use it 2 to 3 times a week.

Very nice and easy assembly.
I updated mine and bought a BBQ steel grate.
That way I had more air coming in under the fire.
I have made small and huge fires in the pit.
Last year instead of freezing my be-hind off giving out Halloween
candy, I moved the pit to the front yard. Very nice ambiance and a real
attraction for the kids.

Just purchased 10/23/14. I'm a 62 year old female, and had no trouble at all assembling. As others suggested make sure you have proper tool to assemble. The wrench supplied was very difficult to work with, so I ended up using a better wrench to assemble. Now I hope the product will last. I live very near to the ocean, so will be interesting to see if it holds up to our climate.
