Not a chance. The surface is a PVC film. You could paint it, but it would peel off.

Answer:
honestly I don't know
they are already painted white.. so I would recommend just getting plain wood ones if you want to paint them.. probably would get better quality.
We wanted to skip the painting so we got these.

No mounting hardware. But use decking screws for security , not drywall screws. Mount to a stud, not just drywall.

Answer:
No, you will need to purchase cabinet screws or screws plus cabinet washers. Don't by a cheap grade of screw as they need to be fully driven into the stud, and a cheap screw head may strip.

No, there is no pre-cut hole for a knob. This is a good thing in my opinion in that one is allowed to determine where he would want to put the knob and make the screw hole at that place. I measured each door with the same measure so as to be sure the hole cuts would be all equal, then my husband drilled the hole to the size screw we would be using with the knobs we bought. more than 20 lbs with the shelves being inside. Since we never weighed it, we can't say for sure. HD has a booklet in the store in the cabinet department which has Hampton's phone number. We have spoken with them before and they are very accommodating.

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 65 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Cabinets Nice cabs for the price. Wanted something to put up down in the laundry room and they were perfect. Make sure you use plenty of screws to hold these up if your wife likes to load things up! August 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cabinets....a hit. First time ordering cabinets on line. Came in without a mark and well packaged. I purchased several cabinets and all were equally in good condition. Ordering online and having them delivered to the front door made the project easier. July 19, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by It works. The cabinets were put together very badly and I had to return at least one cabinet because of workmanship. My wife had to repaint them. August 16, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Wall cabinet I bought several of these cabinet. They are poorly put together. I wish I had realized how they were built before purchasing them and bringing them home. August 10, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Happy with product and home depot customer service Was easy to install on the wall. Lightweight yet fairly good quality for the cost. August 2, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Edge is Chipped Good price but edge is chipped. and someone painted it to try to fix...we noticed that when we done putting the cabinet on the wall. I don't suggest this product but if you chose to buy it. Make sure to inspect it first. July 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very good for the price We are pretty happy with the cabinet. Our only wish is that there was a strip of wood along the upper part of the back panel for us to attach the cabinet to the wall. All of our fasteners had to go through the back panel. July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great cabinets for our needs We installed 2 upper cabinets on the other side of our kitchen sink in order to create a larger 4 ft x 6 ft kitchen island. We would have used base cabinets, but they were just too deep and we didn't have a lot of extra space. These 12" deep cabinets fit the bill! We had to make some modifications to use these cabinets. We built a 3" base to raise the cabinets up to 34" so they were the same height as our existing base cabinets and sink. Once that was done, installation was fast and the cabinets were screwed directly into studs and also secured into the new 3" base. We also adjusted the doors to eliminate the gaps (that's normal so the doors don't rub or get damaged in shipping). We will be installing knobs soon to complete the look and so we can easily open the cabinets. Overall we are very pleased with these cabinets. Everyone that sees them can't believe that they are stock cabinets--especially when you see them with our new counter tops! January 2, 2016
