I just wrote a review of this fixture detailing how ridiculous the design is.
The bulbs are 50 watt QU-10 style bulbs with two pins at the base that rotate into slots in the base of the fixture. The best bet is to get your hands very dry, press both thumbs firmly against the front of the bulb and try to rotate it counterclockwise. It takes quite a bit of force and some jiggling to get it loose.

Putting a new bulb in is even harder, there's no way to grasp the bulb and orient the pins properly for rotating them clockwise into the slots. I put two pieces of gaffers tape on the front of the bulb in an x-patttern with tabs that let me hold onto the front of the bulb. That worked after a lot of fiddling but it's an absurd design. Good luck, you'll need it. Read Less

4-Light Antique Bronze Track Lighting with Wave Bar Fixture is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 60.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Just Burn your Money Instead Thought this was a cute looking light fixture that I could direct light to at various places. And it did. UNTIL I had to change a light bulb! The bulb width is virtually the same as the shade, meaning one cannot easily remove the old bulbs, or put in new ones. Right now I have changed 4 burnt out bulbs within a year, and one of the lamps never lights because I can't get it out, even with a $10 suction tool (which I am returning). Avoid Halogen bulb fixtures, as halogen gets too hot, burns out quickly, and they are very expensive ($3-5 a bulb) to replace.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bulbs difficult to install. Installing the bulbs are so difficult, what genius came up with this design is beyond my comprehension. All I want is to install the fixture with ease and forget it. I am assuming that when the bulb burns out it will be a night mare taking it out. The rubber tool they give you doesn't work at all, sticks to the bulb and before you can get the bulb inside the lamp the tool suction stopped working. Need to take this fixture to the drawing board and come up with a better design. Installation should be easy for all consumers not just for those who has more experience on installing light fixture or handy man.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bought yesterday, returning today! Light bulb (halogen lamps with GU10 bayonet posts) installatio... Bought yesterday, returning today! Light bulb (halogen lamps with GU10 bayonet posts) installation is horrendous, making this product a complete dud. The lamp connection's location within the light holder is is one of the poorest designs I've ever seen. Plus, the GU10 bayonet configuration, even in good circumstances, is more trouble than it's worth. Never mind whether the style is nice or not, that's irrelevant. Do not buy this product!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Terrible design Had to get longer screws to fit fixture to the anchor box...installing the bulbs is a total joke. Already had one fall out and smash in a million pieces on the tile floor. DON'T BUY THIS ITEM...you'll be frustrated and ruin your weekend trying to install it or the bulbs.

I liked the look of the lights, but it never occurred to me that they would be putting out heat. In general, you don't want heat in a kitchen, especially in Florida. The person who hung the lights also commented that it will be difficult to change the light bulbs.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Changing Bulbs is a Pain I bought this light fixture about a year and a half ago. Now that the bulbs are out and in need of replacement, I must say that Hampton Bay did NOT make this exercise consumer friendly. It took research to figure out how to get the light bulbs out as the casing is too small to grasp the bulb with your fingers. Duct tape appears to be the answer, and thank goodness Home Depot has a video on this. I love the way the light fixture looks but I'm giving it a low rating because Hampton Bay should have made bulb changing an easier process or at least provide some instructions on how to get it done.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from A pain to install This fixture was a pain for my husband to install. He had to get longer screws to go through the plate, then scratched up the buttons tightening them. Then the bulbs were a total pain to get in. He had to take the whole thing down so I could finagle the bulbs in. Then repeat the whole process, trying to get the wires to stay back, screws through the holes and then tightening the buttons/nuts. I'm crossing my fingers the bulbs don't go out as quickly as other reviewers experienced. I wish I'd read the reviews; I'd have bought the more expensive track lighting.
