This product delivers in a huge way. If you need a decent floor lamp but also shelves for stuff you have laying around, then this is what you need.
It took me literally 10 minutes to assemble. Here is a tip for you so you won't make the same mistake as I.
Each shelf will have a white sticker on one face. Make sure that face where the sticker is placed is facing DOWN. Because for the love of god, that sticker leaves marks and is a pain to get rid of.
I paired this floor lamp with a Cree 6w 4flow A19 bulb(the new ones)

This is a neat looking lamp, and with the shelving is great for a corner or even as a night stand in a guest bedroom. But the quality is definitely not worth $60. The wooden pieces are light and cheap. Installation is a breeze with everything screwing together nicely. But the boards creak as you tighten them, and one even broke with very little pressure while screwing in. Once together it looks nice, but is not very stable. You wouldn't want to put any collectibles or anything fragile as just turning on the lamp will cause it to wobble significantly. For $30 it would be fine, but not for $60.

Bought this over the "Mainstays" brand at WalMart because it seemed to be of higher quality... it really isn't. It's very flimsy and the wood split when installing because it is very brittle. Good luck putting it together without overtightening and splitting something. Also, don't freak out if you can't find the wingnut listed, it's on the cord already. Would recommend if it was a $39 lamp, not worth what I paid.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by medkid excellent product
each segment of lamp structure fits easily together with minimal difficulty. some adjustment was needed to fit shade fabric into space for it at top of unit. tight fit. workings are of fine purpose and quality for cost of unit...would recommend this unit in family room or bedroom setting where not subjected to repeated movements or bumping into other furniture due to plastic construction.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by John Very nice lamp; has it been improved??
Not sure what the fuss is about the "quality." I watched these on other sites go for as high as $99! The one I got was sturdy (although the tower shouldn't have heavy objects only on top shelf), easy to assemble, and had no cracks, drips, or other flaws. Perhaps some were over tightening the spacing rods? Just tighten them a bit after they touch the shelf and you'll be fine. If you have thick carpet, it may be easy to knock over until it settles into pile or just put something heavy on bottom shelf.
The only thing I don't like is it wasn't bright enough for our application. I got an "Y" adapter at HD ($2.50) and have two 23w curly fry bulbs. I think it's a good value.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by NANJP Nice looking lamp, wish it worked
We were excited to find a lamp that doubled as a storage unit. It was very easy to put together. There are stickers on the wood shelves that were tough to remove (I didn't want to see them even if we installed the shelves facing down). Tip: use Goo-Gone. The vertical poles were not very high quality. We had one snap when screwing it together. It looks like other people had this issue so I don't think it was user-error. We got the whole thing assembled and found that the lighting fixutre didn't work. We tried a different light bulb but still nothing. Back to the store it goes.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by KayCee Looks nice, bright, but not a sturdy lamp
We've had these for over 2 years. We needed floor lamps for a house we were renting and space was limited. These looked great in the living room, we could put a couple of items on the shelves, and the diffuse light is bright (we bought 2 of these) at 150 watts. Because the base is flat with very thin foam pads at each corner, this does not sit well on a carpet. It will wobble quite a bit. Even on the tile floor we had them on, they wobbled ever so slightly when we'd turn them on/off. This really is more a decorative lamp than anything but I really did like the brightness - we used equivalent LED bulbs but the shades gave the light a yellowish tint (so it didn't look stark white).
Take care with the shade material - do not bend or crease it, as you'll end up cracking it or leaving a crease mark. It's a crinkly type of material that looks great as long as you don't crease/bend/fold it.
It's a very "thin" looking lamp. The beams are about 13/16th of an inch thick. The cord runs through a wingnut attached at the bottom of the upper platform and hangs down wherever, which looks really sloppy. I used electrical tape to tape the cord down one set of legs that faced the corner of the room so it wouldn't show. The wood is cheap and lightweight and the shelves scuff easily.
Maybe for $40? I wouldn't recommend this for $60 but if it works in your house like it did for us temporarily, maybe.
