Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by FLGa8tr Maybe the most frustrating fan install ever
I've installed dozens of fans and had three of these. Horrible directions, very vague. The first one (flush mount) took me three hours. Second and third (drop mount) took 2.5 hours each - and I am a pretty handy guy.
If you are buying these and having a "pro" install them, then I think they are very attractive and appear to be well built (only had them up about a month on a covered back patio). If you've not installed fans before, don;t have incredible patience and an extra set of hands (and a shot of whiskey for afterwards), pass on these.
NOTE: If your fan lights are wired for a dimmer, the included CFL bulbs will not work on a dimmer. I replaced them with standard bulbs to work with the dimmer.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Rob Very stylish outdoor fan
Very nice fan. Just know that as with anything outdoors the elements will destroy it in about four years. This is my second set (on outdoor porch) as the blades broke off and entire fan rusted out. Not blaming fan since I knew this going in. The wind and rain just do not allow longevity. I have two of them hanging on 36 inch rods and you could buy much less expensive ones. I just think these look nice.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by newporch Looks attractive, works well
We were looking for something with longer blades, but not quite a 60 inch fan, it had to go outside on our covered porch, not look too industrial or too cheesy. I love the way this looks- it doesn't have a really contemporary espresso finish, nor too light colored. Our electrician installed ours on dimmer switches so we can control the speed on the light switch. I'm glad we have that capability, but in doing that it made the motor hum just a little bit more loudly than I think it otherwise would have. But, that was our choice and I don't think its a reflection of the fan, just the way we installed it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nancy Great value and good looks!
Has the look of a very expensive fan. Great detail features on the fan blades. Very unique shape to the blade and almost a woven palm design on the blade. Even has a plastic toggle that keeps the fan chain from rubbing against the light fixture when pulled. Love that the slowest speed is SLOW--makes it great for winter use. The fan is so quiet that I can hardly tell it's running. Everyone that sees it remarks that they wish they had my fan instead of their current ceiling fan.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by gndnielsen The light bulbs provided do not lend themselves to a dimmer switch but everything else was great
the catalog of fans and light fixtures is inaccurate. Six outdoor fans were listed to have remote features. This is wrong information and why would i need to purchase a catalog anyway? However, the customer service people were outstanding and were able to answer ALL my questions and gave me necessary information so i could remedy my situation.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Reni The fan is beautiful, just as described.
We have not installed the fans (we got two) yet, because the enclosed porch for which we purchased them is not complete. We would have given an excellent rating, were it not for the blades, which are thinner than the blades on any of our other fans - and we have one in nearly every room. They appear flimsy, and that's a disappointment at the price we paid.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Rick Good product for the money!
Great looking fan for the money and it is quiet. It does not move a ton of air but it does ok for our 16' x 10' screened back porch. It went up pretty easily as I already had a wire there and just had to install a fan mounting box. It took be about 1 hour for everything by myself. Good buy!

No complaints from electrician that hung the fan. It looks nice. The light is very bright. The only problem was the down rod is only 6 in. I had to buy a longer on for my vaulted patio ceiling. It does not match but close in color.
