I have the trim installed in my kitchen with our new can lights. I love that they match our other lighting, they add an attractive and artistic flare to the ceiling, but are also very functional. The slight bit of opaque glass on the trim provides just enough shading so that the canned light doesn't glare - but still provides bright lighting for the kitchen/dining space. They are attractive, useful, and feel sturdy. I love the oiled bronze look in my metals and this fits the bill perfectly! I would recommend these for any room you might want a beautiful lighting feature for.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nana1 These recessed light covers not only look great, but are practical!
These recessed light covers not only look great, but are practical. Because of their cone shape interior fitting, they do not allow small animals or birds to get into our back porch ceiling. Also they help reduce a little of the glare from a 65W light with the amber glass. Very pleased with appearance & price!

Bought 10 of these to dress up our recessed light fixtures that had the basic white flush mounted trim ring. The lights came well packaged, with no damage or breakage. Assembly was very simple, as was the installation of each new trim ring which took about a minute each. They really did dress up the fixtures and added to the decor of the room. I was so pleased with the look that I wanted to get 13 more of them for other areas of the house, but they are sold out online, and unavailable in the store. I know that there is another style, but these were on sale so that's why I went with these.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SammyJo exactly as pictured. worth every penny. minutes to install.
I saw a display in my local store but they were out of stock. I loved them so much I bought the displays and then ordered more for every recessed light in my house. These are worth every penny because they give an expensive look without having to pay that much. I did get these on sale so that made it even better. I did not have to make any modifications or change the size of my floods. They were packed nicely, none were damaged and they arrived exactly when they said they would. Literally minutes to install. I also bought a different design for my little bathroom and they were equally as pleasing.

I bought two of these to try them out and make sure I liked them in my house. I love the way they look. They were easy to install. Unfortunately I need two more but they have been on back order for 3 months. Hopefully Home Depot online has them available soon.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by RTZT Looks Great, Hard Install
My wife and I purchased these for our home in Lake Arrowhead, CA. We put 6 in the kitchen. They are very stylish and attractive. However: If you are not doing new construction and using a flat drywall surface these light will bleed light around the edges.
Our contractor solved the problem with silicone caulk. The other issue is the instillation pins that come on the sides of the cans. Our contractor had to cut a lot of the pins away and also it made for a very lengthy install.
It was in the end worth the work they look great!!!

I purchased 4 of these to convert hallway lights to recessed lighting, also got the pendant light for foyer - hallway extends off foyer, so all fixtures are visible from door. The coordinating fixtures match the distressed cherry floor, and immediately upgraded the look of the house for very, very little $$$. Like it so much will go back and change an awkward ceilng fixture in the guest bath to this as well, and use the alta loma bath fixture over the vanity. Recommended.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by cthomas5200 A little pricey, but they look fantastic.
We purchased a house that had cheap white plastic flood enclosures in the kitchen while the rest of the light fixtures were very nice bronze. After looking at options these matched the other fixtures well. My only issue was that after arrival I realized that the cans that were installed had no slots for the hangers! Once I resolved that the install was quick and easy and the lights look fantastic. Only ding is that I do think they are a little pricey.
