Answer:
The set I have is square and seats four. The table top is sectioned out and the tiles fit nicely in each section 9 12 x 12" tiles. Middle section is removeable with a tile replacement or the removable piece is metal with a stamped design and hole in the center for an umbrella if you want to use one.

Yes, an umbrella can be used and comes with a bronze center "tile" that has the hole for the umbrella. The table also comes with a center replacement tile if not using an umbrella.

Answer:
Yes, the center metal tile has a capped hole in the middle, where you can remove the cap and insert an umbrella into the hole. You will need to purchase a weighted stand for the umbrella bottom though.

Answer:
Most definitely. The table comes with enough ceramic tiles to fill the table top but also has a metal center tile to replace a ceramic one. It has a hole with a plug for an umbrella. The directions just recommend purchasing a stand with the umbrella-which almost all recommend-to keep it weighted at the bottom and not damage the table.

I am thinking that is conservative. My husband weights 240+ and so far, no problems. He finds the chairs very accommodating and comfortable.

Answer:
There is no "official" weight limit. However, we had someone who weighs around 240 lbs sit in one of our chairs and now the seat sags. It could probably hold you at 250 lbs, but just be prepared for sagging and not as much support or comfort.

Answer:
I would say that is an accurate limit recommendation. The chairs are easy to put together with the top of the chair attaching to the main base just by attaching a bracket to the chair and inserting the notch into the base. The chairs rock and swivel so I wouldn't want to assume they could handle much more weight than the limit listed.

Answer:
I suggest you purchase a set with a higher weight limit. Personally, it would be no problem with your current weight, however, if used continously, the springs may eventually wear out as the chairs are somewhat bouncy.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by What a dissappointment... I purchased this in August 2014; was happy with set when I got it. One of the chairs has started to rust and the paint is falling on the patio; on 2 of the other chairs, the bolts holding the chair seat to the stand have started to rust. Since it had a 2 year warranty, I called Home Depot they told me to call Hampton Bay, the manufacturer, they would help me and send me a new set. (keep in mind it took over a hour on hold between the two companies). WRONG, Hampton Bay told me rust and corrosion is not covered under the warranty. I told them I had expected to get at least 3-4 years out of the set before I had to replace it and the set wasn't even 2 years old. Couldn't they do something...they said no, go back to the store maybe they can help me. I tried to call the store again and, of course, I was put on hold, after 20 minutes I hung up. I not would recommend anyone buying anything made by Hampton Bay, it will start to rust within a year and a half. May 11, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by If you want an easy to put together set, this is it! This is a cute little patio set, very comfortable and easy to put together. I'm a 60 year old woman who put this set together by myself. Comes complete with tools and easy to follow instructions. Good quality for the money. The tile tabletop is easy to keep clean, and the set is sturdy and comfortable. I'm very pleased with this purchase! August 5, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best purchase ever I bought one dining set and now i'd like another matching set. I can't find it. May 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exactly as stated My husband easily assembled it. We had it shipped to the store and no tiles were broken. I would not recommend these chairs for people over 200 Lbs, as one of our chair seats now sags after a heavier person sat in it. As someone else stated, the chair backs are not very high, so if you are taller (6ft), you may find these to not be very supportive. Two of the chairs have something in the tubing that rattles, but is not noticeable when just siting. One of the chairs rocks side to side a bit but seems stable enough still. We have ours on an open deck, so it will be interesting to see how it holds up over time, as the set is listed as NOT weatherproof. I have included a picture of a little rust forming, after a few weeks, in a place where the coating was chipped off during shipment. This could be what is meant by not weatherproof, but for now, the set looks great and is very comfortable! September 6, 2014
