It was very easy to install, a little time consuming in assembling the fan with all the parts, but even that was easy, love the look and light is bright, of course I replaced the bulbs that came with it, I am using the equivalent of 100watt Daylight LED Bulbs, glad I had the option to do so

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by nicorusa Hard to follow instructions
I'm happy with the fan but it's only been up there less than a week so it's hard to say much about it.
Seems to have better features than my previous fan but as I said the instructions are a little confusing.
Then again none of the ceiling fans I installed were ever easy... regardless of how clear the instructions were.
I just hope this one lasts longer than 5 years like the one it's replacing :(

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Matt Very Nice Fan!
We were looking for a big fan for our family room which is pretty large but we didn't want to spend an arm and a leg. This one did the trick. It's plenty big but not too big. The oil rubbed bronze finish fits in well with the decor as well. It puts off plenty of air. I would say the only possible negative is that despite being a three bulb light fixture it is not particularly bright. But we don't use the light a lot anyway so not a big deal for us.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Whydoineedanicknsme Really good fan
I have needed to replace my two patio fans for a while and I spotted this in a sale flyer. Ordered 2 at sale price, quick delivery. Easy installation and works great. Easy to change remote codes so the 2 remotes control one fan only. Very happy with the fans.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MikeB 60 Inch Oil rubbed Bronze Ceiling Fan - Great fan for high ceilings
I put this ceiling fan in with a 3 foot downrod. My ceiling is a slanted ceiling and we put it where the ceiling height was about 14 feet. I had never installed a ceiling fan before but this one was relatively easy, although the instructions weren't always clear. I'd recommend having someone help you if you know a "handyman" type. I had a buddy come help and it sped up the process tremendously. It still took us between 2:30 - 3 hours to take out the old fan and install the new one, but we were working on tall ladders and had to keep getting tools and hardware down on the ground. Plus we goofed around and didn't stay completely on task the whole time. If we were to install another one we could probably get it done in about an hour and a half.
Overall the fan is a good fan. The fan blades have a different pattern on each side so you can choose which one you want showing down below. The remote transmitter was easy to install and work. The fan moves a ton of air on the high setting and is very quiet and doesn't wobble on the high and low settings. Mine had a little wobble on the medium setting. The light is fairly bright - and I think bright enough, but if you have a big room then it may not be bright enough if this is your only light source (this is according to my wife who apparently likes things much brighter than I do). We have additional lighting in our living room so this worked great.
Observation: this fan does not have chains to adjust the fan speed. My previous fan had chains to adjust the fan speed and was also set on two switches (one for the light and one for the fan). When we installed this one we switched it to one switch - which sent power to the fan unit. We control the light and fan speed through the remote (don't lose the remote :) ). If you don't use the remote transmitter I think you could have the fan on one or two switches, but I don't know how you would control the fan speed (and I don't know what the default speed would be).

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 11Griffy Very nice fan/light combo
Easy to wire and hang. Looks great, no issues with balance. The only difficulty I had was getting the receiver for the remote control to fit nicely into the housing - it was a really tight fit.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Wildepi Nice Looking But Difficult Install
This is a beautiful fan and would likely be a relatively easy install in a flat roof (either the close ceiling install or the short rod), but the positioning of the receiver for the remote makes it almost impossible on a sloped roof. So buyer beware if you are installing it in this application!
The receiver is inserted above the rod within the mounting bracket of the fan (the installation instructions make this impossible to figure out without trial and error), with the red/white wires feeing upward through the bracket. That was difficult to wire, as the receiver wires are very short and required a splice of additional wires to reach the Romex in the box. However, as I was mounting this fan on a pitched ceiling, the angle of the downrod/ball assembly made it impossible to insert/keep the receiver in place. As another reviewer noted, I ended up completely disassembling the fan, removing the ball at the top of the downrod, grinding approx. 1/2" from one half of it (at an angle), and reassembling it to allow the receiver to fit in the bracket.
In very small font on page 11 (the end of the instructions), it says that the ceiling angle shall not exceed 30 degrees. However, at the end of the instructions is a poor place to insert that caveat.
Again, it looks nice and is working well (albeit with a significant wobble I will need to tackle tomorrow), but you may want to look for another model if you have a sloped roof!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Janice Fan looks nice but the remote is not well designed
For the price we paid for this fan, I would recommend it. It looks nice but the remote is not well designed and rather large. However, within weeks of purchasing we had a problem where the controller in the fan stopped working. You could not turn the fan/light on or off with the remote. This fan does not have the option of manually doing this. Home Depot quickly sent us a replacement controller to fix the fan, but now we have to take the fan down, replace it and hope it works and does not stop working again.
