Fan no longer works

The fan was purchased in Oct 2011 but has not been used a lot as we are not usually in AZ in the hot months. It was very hot when we arrived a few days ago and the fan doesn't work but the light does. Put in a new wall switch in case that was the problem but it wasn't. Checked out all the wiring and it seems good.

On the video it states a lifetime warrantee. Can we get a replacement?

You can call our customer service department directly at 800-527-0998 as we are the OEM manufacturer. WE will need to have you send us the motor and we will either be able to fix the motor or replace it with a new motor. We are located in Corona California. can the parts below interior bowl including the bulb holder down be replaced. fan works fine just need redo on lights.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Would not recommend Loved the look of the fan and light. Light was much dimmer than I hoped for but I tolerated it. Problem came when the light stopped working. Contacted Hampton Bay for replacement light kit and was told I needed to contact Home Depot and have them special order it. Contacted Home Depot and they had no idea what I was talking about. Tried another Home Depot who disconnected me. Tried a 3rd store who quoted me the price of the entire fan. What a hassle and mistake. I now have a working fan with no functioning light. Very poor customer service by both parties. Needless to say I will not be purchasing anymore Hampton Bay products. This should have been an easy fix. March 27, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Just Walk Away Purchased 4 of these because they looked nice and at the time had great reviews. I only installed three and they all make horrible noises. To the point where I don't use them and are now basically hanging from the ceiling in two rooms. The globe broke one one and cracked on another while trying to adjust to stop the squeaking, rubbing noise. I have tried troubleshooting everything and I can not sleep through this. I also paid to have them installed. Between the money spent and the time trying to fix them I am out so much money. June 14, 2015

Since then, have had to pay to have both pull chains on the lights replaced ---they would not retract properly. Now the one light will just turn off - whenever. Called customer service and they are willing to send me a part- but I am annoyed that I even need parts for a fan that is relatively new and that I will again, have to pay for an electrician to replace this part. This product is very poorly made and not worth any amount of money. I will be buying new fans - not Hampton Bay fans - and taking these back to the Home Depot where I bought them. February 5, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Fan I installed this fan and light and I am extremely pleased. It was easy to install (the hook to help the hanging is a wonderful problem solver). The light is perfect. I sleep with it over my bed and I cannot tell it is on unless I see the blades turning. I plan to add two more to two others to a bedroom and an office. As for the couple of negative reviews I have the following suggestions. 1. When you buy a fan with a light you are buying a fan with a light. The light is for additional lighting, not primary lighting. 2. If you attach it to the ceiling without leveling the unit or attach the wiring to a dimmer you will get noise. June 28, 2010
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Motor Humming Sound I bought 5 Hampton Bay ceiling fans to replace the old looking ones in my home. I installed the first two. I could kinda hear the motor in one of them, and the other was horrible. VERY loud humming sound, even on the lower speeds. I decided to take the one that was real bad back- installed the new one. It had the same hum. I took them both down. I am not installing the other 3- All 5 are going back. These feel VERY VERY cheap. I had previously bought HUNTER fans, and I am sorry that I tried out Hampton Bay. Poor quality.. loud... not a good fan. I recommend spending a couple bucks more and buying something with a lil more quality. You get what you pay for. July 10, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great fan! My husband and I purchased this fan almost 2 years ago and it's great! I have no idea what other people are talking about when saying it's noisy. We've never noticed a sound at all... I mean on it's highest setting it's not completely silent but it's not noticeable that it would disrupt your daily life. The lighting is great as well... for those unsatisfied with the lighting they should probably change the glass. The glass that is included isn't dark but it's not white/clear so it is more of a "romantic" light. Keep this in mind when shopping. We are actually looking to replace all of our fans with this one. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Bad Switch - Poor Service - Dim Light This was a nice looking fan and worked well until 4 days after the warranty was up. Then the light switch (chain pull type) failed. I took the whole thing apart, took the switch off to replace it but was unable to get it put back together as the light sockets were messed up. All I need is another set of triple sockets and I can rewire it but I can't find any on the internet. The way it is wired, it looks like the whole light assembly needs to be swapped out. I called the company customer service several times but I was always put on hold and never reached any live people to help. I will keep trying to reach them. Its likely to be cheaper just to get a different fan. June 20, 2013

However, when I installed it I put the light and fan on the same switch (1st install). Finally getting around to changing that and realize that you have to disassemble the entire fan to get to the electrical-okay..that works-but the glass falls and shatters. I just thought I could order another one and it is turning out to be quite difficult to do so. Home Depot will not order just the glass but carry ever other replacement part. Hampton Bay's hours for customer service is limited and NO WHERE ELSE sells the Hampton Bay or just the Glass. What a pain! I do recommend this fan just DON'T BREAK THE GLASS! July 23, 2012
