Liked everything about these and installed four on my garage, but after approximately two years, three out of the four no longer work due to failed motion sensors. I've replaced the bulbs, but there doesn't seem to be any way to fix just the sensor. For this kind of product, that level of quality is unacceptable -- hope I can find something similar to replace them with that lasts.

We had a little trouble installing the halogen bulb (having never done so before). The insertion holes are not easy to see and we ended up breaking the prongs on the bulb. Then we found out that, although the instructions say don't use a bulb larger than the 40 watt bulb included, Home Depot, nor any of our local hardware stores, carries a 40 watt halogen bulb of that type. So we ended up using a smaller wattage bulb.
However, once we worked out those kinks, the lamp installed quite easily on our existing post and looks very classy. The motion sensor works very well, and it's range is narrow enough that it doesn't cause the light to flick on every time a car passes, which is especially nice. It only comes on once movement is detected within about 4 feet of the lamp. The little candle stays on all night long and and is a nice touch.
So overall, we are quite happy with this product. And just as a side note, when we couldn't find a 40 watt bulb locally we called the customer service department of Hampton Bay to ask what we should do and the nice gentleman quickly offered to send us one. But in the meantime, the 25 watt bulb we found is working fine.

This light is attractive, easy to install on a lamppost, and has great sensitivity and range to the motion detector.

We put these in our pool courtyard. They look like candles or gas lamps and have great ambiance and style.
