Customer Questions & Answers

Is the bottom of the chaise lounge one piece?

Asked by: Ray
It's three pieces. You have the fabric center and a metal bar on each side. The two side bar pieces are fastened to the center piece with bolts and spacers.

Will someone please answer the question. What is the size of the box? If I know that, then I can determine whether it will fit in my car.

Customer Reviews

Belleville Patio Chaise Lounge is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 46.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Looks good, but rusts. Good looking and comfortable. It also rusts and will stain your patio or lanai. The stains are very difficult to remove if you don't notice them for awhile and allow them to set.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Basic Lounger Wait for price drops, this lounger is way over priced. Bought 2 of them at the end of summer clearance price of $53.00 ea.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice looking chair but leaks rust when wet Beautiful chair and looks great on my brand new paving stone patio. However, when it rains, the metal seems to fill with water. So when you pick up the chair to move it, the water that's been sitting there leaks out and is rusty colored which stains the patio. Does anyone else have this problem? We bought 3 chairs and all 3 of them do this. For this reason, I would not recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value and Look for the Price. Purchased these on sale with the matching side tables. Very happy with the quality and look of the chairs and tables. Great value when compared to lounges twice the price. They are just a little wider and longer than other lounges which is nice. They are comfortable too. Have not had them long enough to address the rust concerns from previous reviews. Will update review at a later time.. Assembly - Went together with no problem...key is only hand/lightly tighten screws. Once chair is assembled then tighten screws as needed. Hope this was helpful.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible quality I purchased two of these. Both are crooked and uneven. Screws don't line up properly and stripped easy. My old Hampton Bay set was much much better. They've clearly gone down hill in quality. Terrible purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice chair, but difficult assembly. Once assembled, the chair is great, but assembly with the tools provided is extremely difficult unless you have above-average strength in your hands, special tools, or an assistant. The difficulty comes when fastening the seat to the arms. With the bolts provided, you must stretch the fabric of the seat to start the bolts into both arms. I was able to stretch the fabric enough to thread the bolts by using an EZ-Hold clamp to stretch the fabric. Without that, I doubt that I would have succeeded without the assistance of another pair of hands. Longer bolts would alleviate this. Also, tightening the bolts is tedious using the small wrench provided. I used a socket wrench, which makes the process much faster and easier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice chair It is a nice comfortable chair and was pretty easy to assemble. It came with all if the nuts, bolts and screws and actually had spares in case you lose one. The box it was shipped in was well packaged. The diagrams are pretty easy to follow as they are diagrams and that look fairly accurate. You will be given a wrench and a hex driver. I found that using a socket set made the installation a little quicker. You'll find that the wrench will require a large number of turns to tighten the bolts. It's a matter of preference.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Solid Chair; horrible customer service One of the two lounge chairs I purchased was missing the plastic insert to the back leg where the chair leg rest on the ground. Had to contact 2 different 800 numbers and the second one promissed to deliver the missing part (1 plastic replacement part only) back on 5/14/15. The part has yet to arrive and don't feel like spending another 30 minutes on an 800 number call for something that was not my fault to begin with. There should be an online servie for something this simple. Such a shame that something so small discourages me from purchaing again or recommending this product.
