We like our table however were very disappointed when we unpacked it and set it up. Perhaps In the factory it was damaged so rather than let the consumer know they covered up the problem with what looks like black shoe polish. That's bad enough but it's all lumpy. Would really appreciate your feedback on this issue. Thanks

I needed a new patio table after a storm destroyed my glass one. The great thing about this table is you can change out the tiles to get a new look for the table. I had some old 12 X 12 tiles in my garage that I experimented with to see if they would fit, and they did! Perfectly. So, unless the frame on this table is destroyed, I will probably never need to replace it. Assembly was easy, too. Took me longer to get the table out of the packaging than to actually put together.

Earlier this summer, I had a glass-top table that shattered all over my young child, myself, and my deck. So naturally, I wanted to replace it with a metal-top table; unfortunately, they're all way too pricey for my budget. Then I found this table online - had to do the ship-to-store option, and I wish it could have been delivered to my home instead, as the box is very large and heavy. Make sure you've got a friend with a larger pickup truck to help you get it home.
The table was pretty easy to assemble, aside from the fact that one of the holes didn't line up where the leg meets the center part - so I'm keeping an eye on it. Also, one of the tiles arrived broken, but luckily, the center tile can be replaced with the umbrella holder instead. I still may contact the company for a replacement tile, just in case.
Overall, the table looks great and is pretty big. Comfortably seats at least 4, can easily accommodate 6. It's handled the rain quite well, and I think it will last. I've also added a large, 9-foot umbrella and stand to the mix. Please note: umbrella, base, and chairs not included.

It would've made perfect sense for Hampton Bay to use 12" square openings in this table so that their customers could easily replace the out-of-the-box tiles with their own. Alas, they decided that 11.75" tiles made much more sense. What a ridiculous and completely avoidable design flaw. I think either Home Depot or the manufacturer should pay to have my 14 granite tiles shaved down a quarter of an inch, don't you think?
That small defect aside (hope your sarcasm detector was activated there), the table was fairly easy to assemble. Some of the fittings didn't align perfectly, but putting it together loose and then tightening everything afterward made all the difference.

I had to order this item twice. The first time I picked it up in store, brought it home, halfway through building the table, we realized a tile was split in half and there was a huge dent on the side of the table.
Had to disassemble, repack and return to store. I figured the damage was a one time thing so I ordered another one.
Second one comes in, we spend 30-40 minutes putting it together. When we go to put the tiles in, there's one opening that was re-welded oddly and none of the tiles will fit in. We had to sand down one side to be able to shove it in there. Additionally, due to the messed up shape of the frame, the center piece is crooked and bows out in a strange way.
I bought this table as a Mother's day gift for my mom and I don't have the time to re-order and return this product every weekend, so we're just going to stick with what we have for now.
Would NOT recommend. Horrible workmanship.

I purchased the table online and picked it up in the store. It was easy to assemble and looks very nice. No problems with broken tiles as other reviewers had. I did not purchase the set with the chairs, only the table. I found other sling chairs at Home Depot and an umbrella at Costco. The set at Home Depot was $499, I bought everything (table, chairs and umbrella) for $400. Pleased with my purchase. Time will tell how it holds up to our weather in Michigan.

Love this table! Would have given 5 stars but one bolt did not fit into the frame correctly. Easy to put together! Great for the price!
