Answer:
Most fans have a small switch that you move left or right for normal or reverse air flow.If you do not have a switch on the fan itself , it is not reversible.Make sure before buying a fan, read all the information first on the box to see what features it has.

I installed mine with 36" downrod I bought separately from my local Home Depot. It's not a perfect match but you can't tell after it's installed. Looks great.

Answer:
Its a dark brown finish. We call it Voltera Bronze as it is darker then oil rubbed bronze. The first picture was due to having light directly shinned on when the photography was dons.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 125 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Absolutely Beautiful! I am so pleased with this fan. I am in love with the looks, it is darker than the home depot picture. My pic is the real color which I love. It goes great with my wall decor and the etched globe allows a lot of light to come through. I use daylight LED bulbs, so my pics are much brighter than if I had used the bulbs that came with it. In fact, It is too bright.. The fan is very well built and heavy, thank goodness you can hang it while you wire it otherwise I would have needed another set of hands. I installed it myself as I do with all my lights. It was easy to assemble but I will say I had a bit of trouble with tightening the screws for the canopy cover because there just wasn't enough room for a screwdriver. Luckily, I have one that bends to a 90 degree angle and it was able to fit in the tight space. There wasn't hardly enough room within the canopy for the transmitter and the wires. The canopy is very thick, I made it work but it took some time. If you like the looks of this fan, you won't be disappointed. It has great airflow and is energy star qualified, and the globe allows for a ton of light output. Also the GU24 base bulbs are not hard to find either September 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful fan I really like this fan and the fact that there are other lights that match it. I also like that it is a clear glass rather then amber like so many are. I am hoping it will give off more light for the older eyes. Looks great hung, just a lot of wires when there is a remote to find room for and it is heavy. October 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Purchase ever, I have never seen in my life more beautiful fan than this one. I like this fan very much and I am going to change all fans in my house for this kind. It's a beautiful and good looking fan, a little bit complicated to install, but in general I love it. It makes room looking rich and beautiful. October 6, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Love the look First, the color of the blades: on Home Depot website the picture shows it's a light wood color which would be a perfect match for our kitchen cabinets. When we took out the blades both sides of the blades were darker color wood, sigh. The fan took hours to install, specifically attaching the part that attaches to the ceiling, 2 screws that were very had to attach blindly as they were undermount and no real visibility. Then to test it out you have to use the control to turn it on and off and guess what? It didn't come with a battery... another sad sigh. But, all said and done, it's up, it looks and works great. No wobbles, no problems. Yay! We have 2 of these fans installed, one to go (we bought 3). We are NOT looking forward to the next install, but will look forward to HAVING IT DONE! :) August 24, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful but not working! Love the look and substance of this fan! Looks absolutely stunning in my living room. Was working just fine after installation, but like 2 days later, the fan stopped working completely. The light comes on but no fan. Hampton Bay customer service seemed to think it was the "receiver" not communicating with the remote. They are sending a new one, which will require the installer to come back out, install the new receiver, and incur another install fee. Needless to say, very unhappy with the performance of this beautiful but non-functioning fan. Wish I could have given a good review, but here is the truth. July 21, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Defective motor Had to return, motor was not centered so blades did not spin. Since fan was not sold in stores, we opted just to get the matching light fixture instead. Disappointed. September 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Decorative Fan/light used in our bedroom Great looking Fan/light for the price. Quiet fan and Bright light. Bronze finish looks really nice. Note that battery is not included for remote. August 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Handsome ceiling fan Straightforward assembly instructions. Not complicated. Hardest part could be the electrical junction box in the ceiling. This is not a part of the fan assembly and may well have to be replaced in order to handle the 35 pounds of the fan. This is my second fan of this model. It is good looking, but pricey.
