Customer Questions & Answers

Is this track head lighting fixture Juno compatible?

Item: Hampton Bay 120 Volt Pinhole Cylinder Linear Track Head White Finish Model # EC7210WH
Asked by: Anonymous
The short answer is no. Most Juno track systems are 2 bus systems, meaning that there are 2 conductive grooves, positive on one side, negative on the opposite side. The track head in question installs onto a 3 bus system also known as EC or H series Hampton Bay or Commercial Electric track system. A positive conductor on one side, the negative and the neutral on the other side. The track head has 3 conductive tabs that align with the 3 bus track..

Where can one acquire the flexible, semi-circular metal rings/clips that secure the glass filters inside the lamp housing?
Asked by: Homesick
Tough one. My new Hampton Bay replacement head did not have that springy retaining clip. Most mfgs are very helpful - give the mfg customer service a call. They just might send one to you.

Does this head come in a base style GU5.3?

I have some LED 50watt, 12volt, MR-16 bulbs (bi-pin base). I would like to use in this style head. All I can find at Home Depot is this one that takes the nob base that twists in to the head. Hope this makes sense.
Asked by: NapaMac
Unfortunately the low voltage version of the fixture you are inquiring about was discontinued a few years ago. The Home Depot does not carry them any longer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from To replace a burnt out bulb, there is a rim to release Inside the casing of the fixture head, there is a circular wire rim about the diameter of the bulb. It is a little hard to see, if you don't know what you are looking for. Press, release and remove the rim and pull the dead bulb out. The new bulb will pop in.
