Answer:
Most Hampton Bay linear track is compatible with Halo track systems, however, to be sure , you need to verify whether your existing track system is a 3 bus system. If so, yes, 99% of the time it will be.

How many Amps does each light use? I have a circuit that has a 15 amp capacity and would like to add an 90 degree to the 8ft track I have now but do not want to waste my time if I will blow the circuit at full power. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Answer:
A good rule of thumb to use when assessing the amperage is:
100W equals 1AMP. This fixture uses a 50W bulb so approx. .5AMP.
The power supply, track and 90 are rated for up to 2400W.
If using a 15AMP breaker you should be able to add up to approx. 30 track heads using 50W bulbs.

Black Pinhole Cylinder Track Lighting Fixture is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 41.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality lamp! The only complaint is in the description on the webpage. I bought this to replace a Hampton Bay lamp that failed that had a rectangular base. There was only one picture of the lamp and there was no way to tell that the base is a cube, so the new fixture doesn't match the existing ones. The quality of the product is excellent, however.

There was something wrong. Took it to the local Home Depot…they were unable to dt the bulb to fit…..suggested returning it, which I did. I would like to try again and order another….I am replacing one of 5 in my kitchen fixture that has stopped working.

The fiting into the existing track works..The light bulbs and connections are entirely different from the bulbs in the old system. Now I will need to have two different kinds of bulbs onhand for when one burns out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great purchase! Love the look. Installing new GU10 LED lamps in these fixtures requires some minor work to make the lamp fit appropriately. Apparently the LED GU10s are longer than the halogen GU10s so the clip on the wire in the inside end of the fixture needs to be moved in order for the GU10 LED to "sit" correctly. Also, this fixture was very recently about $13.00. The increase was a little frustrating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from To replace a burnt out bulb, there is a rim to release Inside the casing of the fixture head, there is a circular wire rim about the diameter of the bulb. It is a little hard to see, if you don't know what you are looking for. Press, release and remove the rim and pull the dead bulb out. The new bulb will pop in.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Don't last, metal warps I bought three of these about seven years ago to extend an existing compatible track light set. To my surprise, all recently began to warp! The round metal housing, both the portion attached to the mesh cap and the portion with the clip-in lens, are warping irregularly. This causes the two parts to come apart where the pins connect them, leaving wiring and bulb connector exposed. These lights are in a walk-in closet, so they don't get a lot of use and don't have time to build up much heat. Obviously an inferior product. Get another brand if you want them to last.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Re. TQCon Sayre, PA problem To: TQCon: the bulb has 2 pegs which insert into the housing. Push the cable through the top mesh dome to loosen the bulb through the opening to be able to grasp, then pull the bulb out straight to detach. Attach new bulb and pull the cable up again to fit bulb into housing again. Easily done.
