Answer:
If the top solar portion becomes hazy, you can take a damp towel with some Comet and scrub until haze is gone. Then take some car wax and apply a thin coat to keep from re-hazing.

Answer:
THE PLASTIC LENS CAN BE WASHED NOT THE TOP PIECE. YOU CAN WIPE THAT PIECE OFF WITH A WET CLOTH. HOW EVER I AM NOT SURE AFTER TIME IF YOU CAN CONTINUE WASHING THE LENS BECAUSE THE LENS WILL WEAKEN WITH THE WEATHER.

Answer:
Not sure what you mean by "washed" but I have these outside and they frequently get hosed-off/saturated by the sprinklers etc. There aren't any internal parts that can short circuit (as far as I can tell) so you should be ok.

Answer:
The bottom can be washed, but the top (where the LED and the battery is located) should just be wiped clean and not submerged.

Answer:
Sure. The clear globe part is washable. Wouldn't do anything to the solar panel, though.. I would just take the solar panels off carefully and put them in a safe place, wash the globes and replace. I don't think it is needed often, though. I never have bothered.

Black Round Plastic Solar LED Pathway Light (6-Pack) is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 41.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from An inexpensive way to add some flair to a lawn I did not expect a high quality product for the price, but was surprised in that the quality was better than I expected. Assembly was very simple as was the installation (it is not tough to push a stake into the ground). The lights look great. They do not provide a lot of light but are great for accenting plants or defining a border. The only problem I have had with the lights is when it rains they tend to go out. Removing the top, shaking out the condensation and drying the battery brings the light back to life.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good lights, warm color, not super bright. I bought these today and set them up in less than 5 mins. The led color is exactly what I was looking for. It is a warm white and not super bright. The one thing I didn't like was star shape of the light due to the scalloped glass. So I cut out a cone of wax paper and put it in. This makes the light softer and seems to spread out better. They turned on around 7 and so far have been running for 3 hours.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good little lights for a great price I bought these little solar lights to illuminate the pathway to an outdoor studio that sits at the back of the yard. These are not the sole source of light, I also have motion sensor lights right as you enter the yard, but I wanted these to supplement that and light the path more clearly. They took maybe 1 minute a piece to put together and install (You clip 3 pieces together and stab them in the ground). It couldn't be easier AND they come with batteries so they're ready to go. They work well too (as long as they get enough light during the day). I was a little caught off guard by the light pattern- it resembles a star and you kind of feel like you're going to a movie premier, but hey it adds a little fun. Let's be clear: You will not be finding any lost items (that aren't close to the light) or illuminating large swaths of land but you WILL light a clear path/prevent people from tripping which is (in my case) all I needed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Don't expect much I got these when they were on sale to replace a bunch of broken solar lights from the previous owner. At $2/light it seemed like a good deal. They are easy to put together just three pieces, but the plastic is very cheap. I cracked two of the stalks just trying to adjust the lights to stand up a little straight, and even the stakes that go in the ground are cheap, I snapped one in half just trying to pull it out to adjust it. Be careful when sinking these in the ground, and I'm not confident that a strong gust of wind won't knock them over and break them into pieces. They will easily get knocked over from children or a garden hose. At $3/each it's probably a waste, at $2/each they are questionable. They do look nice however once installed and provide a nice mood lighting to the walkway.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Good Buy I enjoy the solar lights in my garden. The night time glow is pleasing as i look out on my patio garden area. My concern is how long will the batteries last. The cost of the right type of battery for the lights is a concern to me at $7.99 at Home Depot for 4 batteries.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solar lights Not the highest quality but great for the ptice...look expensive though!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cheap and simple Great for simple accent lights, but they are not very bright. I have them on the north side of the house and they do not get much sun, but even with the limited sun they still shine at night for almost all night. If it is very cloudy all day obviously these lights will not work. I put that the quality was pretty cheap because one of the lights got hit with a door and broke. That was mostly my fault though.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from best for the price Easy to set up. Relatively bright. Best suit as a marker. Kind of flimsy. Some deer knocked one off and broke the stake.
