We got this along with the 3-way light of the same line and we are very happy with how they light up our kitchen area. The lights are bright without being too bright and you've got the flexibility of adjusting them without tools should need light in a specific area from time to time.
They are not good for getting light into under counter areas however. I suppose if you angled them just right you could but then we would personally look some of our counter light. That said, for less than $30 you can get under counter LED lights that plug into the nearest outlet and they provide the extra light for the under the counter areas AND quite a nice ambiance in general.

I AM TRYING TO REPLACE A PART THAT IS ON THE INSIDE OF THE LIGHT GLOBE. IT IS WHAT HOLDS THE GLOBE ON. THIS PART BROKE AND CAUSE THE GLOBE TO SLIDE DOWN AND REST ON THE LIGHTBULB. WHEN WE TOOK THE BULB OUT TO TRY AND SEE WHAT THE CAUSE WAS, IT BROKE INTO PIECES. IT IS THE PART THAT IS ATTACHED TO THE INSIDE OF THE GLOBE. THIS PARTICULAR BULB HAS HAD TO BE REPLACED AT LEAST 4 TIMES AND SOME OF THE OTHERS HAVE NEVER BEEN REPLACED. i THINK SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THAT PARTICULAR SOCKET. MAYBE GETTING TOO HOT AND BLOWING THE BULBS WHICH ALSO CAUSED THE ATTACHED RING TO BECOME BRITTLE AND BREAK.

This was all done on the internet for starters.
The first light arrived damaged and my contractor returned it to the Summerville, SC store and allowed me to order a new one. I was given a credit for the broken one and we are happy both with light and the service.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mike Nice looking and easy installation
I'm never lucky enough to get it right the first time, but this install was pretty smooth and easy. Looks great, fair price, works great as all 4 heads can be adjust individually. We are using it over the kids workspace for drawing and coloring. The 4 - 50 watt bulbs provides great lighting that makes it easier for the kids (and Grandma) to read comfortably. So far, the only downside is that 2 bulbs already died in less than 30 days. First time using the GU10 base bulbs and they look a little pricey online. Hopefully I won't have to go through 2 per month. Will let you know if I do.

went up well. I love the look, it's beautiful. The little handles on the sides of the lights are just for show and don't really help in turning the lights. It would have really been nice if they did. however if you hold the fixture while getting the lights aimed where you want them (hold the arms in place) it's sturdy. I love that led bulbs can be purchased for this fixture now. They are very expensive but with an older home it is much less of an energy pull. great fixture!!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by papajohn Nice design inferior materials
I quite like the look and design of the lamps I purchased but I was disappointed with the quality of the materials, some parts of the assembly and one other issue regarding the arms/lamp brackets not being stationary. I would gladly pay an extra $20 to get better materials and engineering.
The metal trim on the lamp shades are poorly designed and engineered. I'm sure, over time, with dusting and cleaning, the tabs that hold the trim to the shade will break off. I'm surprised they survived the many times I had to re-band them during the course of the insulation. The arms that hold the light fixtures are, mysteriously, not affixed in such a manner that the arms remain stable. I attempted to keep them in place by tightening the mounting nut, but that was unsuccessful. After fighting with this problem for all too long, I finally resorted to super-gluing them in position. I believe a more substantial guage metal and more robust finish would add years to the fixtures looks and viability. I'm pleased with the final installtion and the ambience of the creative lighting, but I'm not eager to make any adjustments of the postion of the lamps for fear that the super glue with be compromised. Although the overall value is commensurate to the price I paid, I feel the manufacturer has sacrificed quality for price and the consumer is the loser, in the long run.
