Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by garfodie81 NOT compatible with 10-ft Hampton Bay flex track
Despite the specs for this product saying it is "Compatible with Hampton Bay 120-volt flexible tracks, components, and accessories," it is NOT compatible with the Hampton Bay 10 foot flex track kit, which indeed is 120 volts. I discovered this AFTER fully installing the flex track into my ceiling AND cutting all my pendants down to size. It makes no sense why the 10 foot and 12 foot flex tracks are different, other than length! Now I have to go through the arduous process of removing the track, somehow getting it to fit back in the box, returning the stupid thing, and waiting to order the 12 foot flex track kit, which is, of course, out of stock online. And this was after I waited over 2 weeks for the adapters to arrive in the first place! So now I have no light fixture, holes in my ceiling, unusable pendants, and a sour taste in my mouth.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Verified Reviewer Good product, performs as advertised, allows some flexibility in choice of lights for flexible track systems.
The Linear-to-Flex Track Adapter really ought to be called the Flex Track-to-Linear Light Fixture Adapter, because it allows the use of a fixture originally designed insertion into straight non-flexible linear tracks with the currently popular new generation flexible tracks.
The adapter works well, and blends well with both the gray track and the brushed nickel finish fixtures we used -the Hampton Bay 1-Light Brushed Steel Track Lighting Fixtures, a contemporary SS-like smaller swivel spot.
The only marks against these adapters are:
1) It takes a bit of effort and close reading of the instructions to get it to correctly attach to the linear track fixtures we used, and one, no matter how I undid and redid the attachment, never really fully aligned the body of the adapter with the hanging portion of the light, and I can discern the slight misalignment when I view the particular light in question. But it's only one of 6, and casual observers would probably not really see the flaw because the entire lighting assembly looks so good overall.
2) It takes a bit of concentration & effort to get the adapter to correctly grip the track AND to hold it there AND to screw the cap on to clamp the two gripping hinges together -at the same time -which is required.
But overall, it is a quite good product, and I would recommend it for those who desire to attach otherwise unattachable Hampton Bay linear track lights to their Hampton Bay flexible tracks.

Bought these to adapt a linear track pendant to my flexible track. Easy to attach to both the light and the track.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by RobC Works, looks good, a little hard to install
I found the electrical connections and the strain relief easy enough to hook up. What I found hard is pinching the whole thing together once it's on the track, far enough to screw the top on (which is what holds it all on the rail). I found that using a pair of slip-jaw pliers, with masking tape on the jaws to keep from marring the adaptor (which is, after all, mostly plastic) worked well to hold it closed with one hand while I screwed the top on with the other. While balancing on a ladder. ;-)

I purchased this product to enable us to add pendant lights over our breakfast bar with the flexible track lighting system. It worked great! We were able to use the same fixture over the sink so we have a very finished look. We now have a modern updated kitchen with great lighting thanks to the flex adapter and flexible track lighting system purchased from Home Depot.
