Customer Reviews

Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 26 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by nice and quiet I like that this has a remote I've seen several different ceiling fans at Home Depot this is the best one I would like to see more colors the light color blade looks to pink on this unitI would like to see this even is in it go a little September 4, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Remote is the only option with this fan Worked at installing this fan for 4 hours today. Connected the wires, disconnected the wires over and over just trying to get the canopy cover into place to no avail. The remote absolutely would not fit so finally gave up and will be returning the whole thing tomorrow. When I bought this fan, I knew it had a remote but I figured I didn't have to install it. Nope, because there are no pull chains so it is remote or nothing. Hate to have to return this because it is really beautiful plus it was one of only a few that don't require CFL light bulbs that give me headaches but I am over trying to install this fan! No easy installation in this one. December 19, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice looking Great Value All of the ceiling fans I purchase and have installed in my homes are Hampton Bay. I bought this one to replace a Hampton Bay fan that was installed eight years ago by the contractor when the house was built. It went in as easy as the others, but there was one problem. The brackets to attach the fan blades to the fan were NOT in the box. This would have forced me to interrupt the installation and drive all the way back to the store to try to find replacements. This however did not happen since the brackets from the fan being replaced fit nicely. I would suggest that you open the box with a store employee and do an inventory of the parts at the time of purchase. Otherwise, I'm pleased with the fan. September 7, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Do Not Buy This Model!!! This model has a very poor engineering design. 1. The base size is too small to fit the wiring AND the remote module in. I spent 95% of the installation time rearranging, bending, and rearranging the wiring away from the remote module to get them to all fit inside smaller than usual base. So muchso that my arms contimually fell asleep from being in the upraised position. 2. It's remote or nothing. There is no option for a pull string in case the remote malfunctions. Did not find that out until it was too late. The moral of this story is - sometimes the lower price is just not worth it. August 25, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great fan for the price. Went to Home Depot with another fan in mind I'd seen online. Saw this one on sale for about $20 more than the one I was looking for. But the inclusion of the remote control with this fan had me get this one. Installation wasn't bad at all, just need to pay attention to the remote control receiver, it's not obvious it gets installed in the fan's frame. Once installed (took about an hour), it worked fine. Had it for 3 or 4 months now, it's quiet, and the remote being able to control fan and light brighteness is great. January 15, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Calling the mfg. I have installed ceiling fans in the past. Fitting the electronic module inside the base was a chalenge due to limited space. At start up the remote would not turn anything on. Gave up and the wife played with the battery in the remote the next day. This worked for one month off and on and now the remote will not work again. Stoped at Home Depot and was told to call the Mfg to request another remote. I hope this will go well. I really do not want to go thru remove, return and re-install. August 23, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Looks pretty but that's it. Very attractive fan, but it was difficult to install. Base would not sit flush with ceiling. Once installed, had issues with remote and fan operation. Light would not work independent of fan. Light would only come on with fan on high. Remote had seperate button for light, but would not work unless you turning on fan. Fan also does not allow for manual operation without remote. Needless so say, fan was uninstalled and returned to store. May 21, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Don`t believe the hype I have installed 4 of these. They are the easiest fan to put up on the market. Yes, you must program the fan to a different frequency if you have more than 1 fan in the home. Yes , you must move the wire nuts up and out of the way in order to fit the remote base in the ceiling bracket. If not, it is tight in there. Otherwise, for the money they are attractive, quiet, and work great. Also, remove all dimmer switches from the curcuit as they will interfere with the already installed dimmer unit. July 9, 2013
