Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by thepoolguy Great looking, inexpensive ceiling fan
Pros: Fan is great looking and matches well with a flat white painted ceiling. Comes with remote with 3 speed fan, dimmable lights and reversible fan direction.
Cons: Comes with 3 poor quality candelabra candle bulbs. I bought 5 of these fans for my house and had 4 bulbs burn out in the first 2 months. Took bulbs back to Home depot and they replaced them.
Overall: Great ceiling fan for a clean simple look moderate installation.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DKW18 This is the worse ceiling fan we have ever purchased.
We installed the ceiling fan the end of December. We were not aware when we bought it, it had a remote control to operate it. 2 months ago the receiver went out in it. The lights and fan did not work. Again last week, the receiver went out again!!! It does not work. It is in our living room, the main light that we use. I have a day care and need good lighting. It has been very frustrating to say the least. This fan has been discontinued and I know why!!!!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by wagsandpaws Quiet fan but don't like remote feature
I had two of these fans installed in bedrooms. I chose this fan because of the size of the blades. I made the mistake of not looking at the bulb size (requires candelabra style bulbs) and that it only runs on a remote (no pull chains). I don't like the remote feature in that you can turn the light on or off but not dim. Then, if you turn the wall switch off, you can't turn the light or the fan on; the wall switch must remain on. Now, I ask you; how many of you can leave a room and NOT turn the light switch off?!
I know I'm picking at the little stuff so, what I like about it is that it is quiet and nice looking. Also, since I had these installed by an electrician, I don't have wobble issues. I just wish that I had more options than the remote only.

List of tools needed for installation should include an experienced ceiling fan installer. First time DIY's, be prepared for frustration. Bulbs provided don't provide anything close to task lighting, even within six feet of my kitchen table. Type of bulb required is not identified except that they are 60 watt. The bulbs themselves and the plain white box they are in bear no markings of any kind. Fan itself is quiet and reasonably wobble-free, but I seriously doubt the CFM rating is accurate.

I am now on number three of the Campbell fan. All three of them had issues. the first, the blades were warped so I had to go back and get new blades. The second worked well for a couple weeks, then started to tick intermittently (bearings were going bad) Just picked up the third and it wobbles. I have triple checked all screws, bolts etc. How can a machine manufactured item be so horrible?!. I am never purchasing Hampton Bay brand again. Save yourself the hassle and frustration.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Sunroom Humming fan
Bought this for a new sun room so installation was part of electric work by an electrician. Fan looks very nice in the white finish sun room. However, when I turned it on there was a humming sound which increased with fan speed. None of the reviews has reported this problem, so it may be a defective unit. I will be definitely returning it.
