This product was easy to install and looks great. The one problem they have is that the mounting points aren't all in the same place. I made the mistake of using just one blind to make my markings and drill the holes. This turned out to be a pretty big mistake as the mounting points aren't in the same place on each individual blind. You will need to use the blind you plan on hanging at each window to measure for your holes to make sure the blind is centered properly. Otherwise you'll end up with extra holes in the window frame like we did.

I needed a shade that would match with my 100 year old house that would provide privacy from the street. I always loved how bamboo shades looked in designer magazines so I thought I would give it a try. They were inexpensive but look just like the decorator versions of the same thing! SUPER EASY to install. I bought six more to install in other areas of my house.

I didn't want to use mini-blinds in the old house my son and I are updating/ renovating. I saw these at Home Depot and thought this might be the answer. Purchased the shades, and headed home. Had them hung in less than 20 minutes, Fits perfectly and looks much better than mini-blinds would. Very pleased with the result so I went back to Home Depot the following day and bought enough to do the rest of the house. There was even one to fit the really odd size picture window in the living room :)
The quality is good. The color choices are pleasingly neutral without being bland. I am very pleased.
The photo is not the greatest lol, but shows how well they go with curtains

These are prettier than I thought they would be, but somehow outrageously difficult to comprehend how to install them. You think it's simple, but the instructions leave significant contortions of the drawstrings to your imagination. Somewhere on the other side of the planet I think some factory workers are having a good belly laugh at my expense. Eventually they are hung, now how to figure out a further rocket launch -- how to get them to roll down beyond 36 inches since they are 72 inch blinds. The cord stop forces an end to the descent, as is also pictured on the package and on the internet instructions.
OMG, they are like those puzzle boxes that you can't open, or the bent nail puzzle where you can't separate the nails.

We've had these shades before on our screened in porch, but after many years they needed to be replaced. Two out of the three we ordered had metal pullies (like the old ones) the third one was plastic. It broke the first time we used it. We ordered another to replace the broken one. It also has a plastic pulley. Seems o.k. so far, but sure wish they'd go back to making them with metal. My ratings might change after seeing how they hold up.
