They absolutely would based on where you place it. The waterfall effect is not harsh to birds. Hope this helps your decision.

Hi there
My fountain is near our front door so birds dont' come to it often but they do come and drink from it. I think if it were in a different place they would be there all the time drinking. We have several other fountains in our back yard and birds are at them all day. I love this fountain. Do you want birds to come to it? they do***

Answer:
Hi,
For my fountain they do use it. We have several fountains through the yard that are further away from the house that they use more. This one is placed near the front door so they dont' use it as much but they still do. Not sure if you want them to or not but I think birds will go to where ever they can find water. I love seeing them at the top of it.
Good luck

No...but if used outdoors where there is enough light to charge the photo cell of a solar garden light, it can be aimed at the fountain with a couple of nice ferns to accent, to make a nice night display.

For whatever reason, I do not have any electrical outlets outside of my home. So, I was wondering if I could remove the existing pump with power cord and replace it with a pump that s solar powered.

Thank you!

The included pump is just a standard fountain pump that sits on the bottom of the reservoir. The fountain has 1/2" polytube going up to the top bowl - this tube just slips over the pump's discharge which is essentially a 1/2" hose barb. So any pump with 1/2" discharge will fit no problem.

BUT. I think you may have a hard time finding a solar powered pump with sufficient power to run the fountain nicely. The included pump is 115GPH, pumping into about 2 feet of head. I throttled mine down to about 85GPH and it is just right (for me). So you'll need to find a solar pump that can push at least 85GPH with 2 feet of head - that will not be cheap. Read Less

I have had no problems at all. The fountain itself has weight to it and then with water in, it is quite heavy. I have placed it on a tile for a sturdy base.

Answer:
We purchased ours last year. We live in such a windy area. We live near the water but our house is in a wind tunnel. Its always always very windy here. The fountain is fine. We do have it not under an arbor but right at the corner of our front arbor and there are stairs to the other side. So it gets wind but its shielded a bit also. Good luck

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ceramic Fountain The fountain went together easily. Looks absolutely beautiful in my new garden area. I love the sounds of falling water when sitting on the pergola. Water lasts quite a while before needing to be refilled. May 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love it! Love this fountain! It was easy to set up and we love the look it brings to our little garden. June 7, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great purchase It's nice and tall. You have to unplug it to turn it off because there is no switch on the unit or the cord. August 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great look and great value! When the box arrived (should have had the word FRAGILE on it), I was expecting to have to assemble the fountain, but all 3 pieces are attached. All we had to do was place it where we wanted it, put in the pump and fill! Easy as pie! It looks great, we have gotten lots of compliments, and it works perfectly. ONLY issue -- this is the 2nd one we got. Had to return the first due to a slight leak. We couldn't figure out where the water was coming from. This one has a very, very slight leak, so we're keeping it. August 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great for s small space Nice little fountain at a reasonable price. Water flow is adjustable. Easy set-up and doesn't need much space. Attractive color combination. August 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ceramic fountain Love my new fountain. Soothing and relaxing sounds emenate from the beautiful ceramic expensive looking fountain. Calms me down when i sit by it. ❤️❤️❤️ August 6, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Fountain works great love it but paint is cracking and peeling off after one year We wanted to add a water feature to our new patio area and this one was perfect. But now after the second summer and winter the paint has started to crack and fall off in big chunks. Winter here has not been bad and we have had warmer temperatures to the point the water has never frozen once inside the fountain. Outside of this issue we have had not one complaint about the operation or enjoyment of the fountain. Just wish the paint did not crack and fall off. January 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by good fountian I bought this product thinking I could use it inside the house. It is made for outdoor use because it splashes enough water, a fine mist, on the floor around it and would damage the floor over time. I followed the suggestion to put a chain from the last opening down into the pump chamber. This reduced the noise in the pump chamber. Then I went to Hobby Lobby and purchased a bag of 1 to 2" river rock and some chain to use between each of the chambers. I found a black chain to use in the necklace section of Hobby Lobby. I put the river rocks in all 3 champers which looks good. Then I put the black chain from the top and 2nd tiers. The river rock keeps it in place. This allowed the water to follow the chain and stop the splashing that was going on. The last thing I did was put a cork plant floor protector underneath it to prevent condensation. . This process converted the fountain from an outdoor to an indoor fountain. This is a classy looking fountain now and looks and woks good inside my home February 8, 2016
