After assembly, the set is very nice and sturdy. But the assembly instructions were awful--graphic for step 2 went with text for step 3 and vice versa. Determining which screw lengths to use was also a challenge. It took me about 6 hours to assemble this set, including pondering the terrible instructions. Unlike other reviewers, I eventually found the screws to be long enough for their intended purpose (after trial and error). I had to use a hammer and rod to clear aluminum from several screw holes on the chair frames that didn't get punched out cleanly, then use a furniture clamp with rubber pads to bend the aluminum enough and pull the parts together to align for assembly. A couple of plastic screw caps kept popping off, so I hot-glued them in place.
One important note--consider storing the chairs in high winds. Although the chairs seem heavy and sturdy, one swiveling chair has already blown over twice in 30-to-35-mph wind gusts that caught the seat back broadside.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by VRBOhomeowner Holding up really well!
We have had this set for over a year and it's holding up great. We live four blocks from the beach, where dust rusts...but this aluminum set is showing no rust yet. We did have one small issue with one chair...the frame was slightly misaligned so the bolt didn't tighten up. My husband drilled clear thru the frame and we put a nut and longer bolt on it...end of problem. It's at our rental house, so it may not be treated very gently sometimes, but no problems with it yet.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Alex Good Value, but tough to put together
This table is all aluminum frame and looks nice, but the parts are challenging to fit together - be sure to have a hammer and some patience when you put it together!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bugsy Good Aluminum Frame Table and chairs. Assembly takes too long.
Good Table. Good Price. Really like the aluminum frames. Hoping it really is rust free, unlike the prior table and chairs I had which which had a steel frame and lots of rust. everything is lightweight, except the glass. It appears to be very strong and stable. The stationary chairs are stackable. The pivots are not, nor would anyone expect them to be, but there are very nice, comfortable, and rotate effortlessly and only when desired.
Only real negative was the time to assemble it all. 4-5 hours, plus another 90 minutes to get the glass table top in, which was too tight on one side, plus one of the table top supports was bent. Otherwise, I would have given a 5 rating.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by BlakeM Poorly engineered
This product is poorly engineered and it's very difficult to assemble. I am an engineer and can see many flaws in the design and construction, the tolerances were not properly adhere to when designing this furniture. As many other reviewer's noted, the screws do not line up properly in the holes. Additionally, the plastic end caps interfere with aligning the bolts. Unless you are willing to redrill and use power tools to fix some of the problems, please steer clear of this patio set.

When I first seen this patio set, I loved it so much. But once we ordered it and had to put it together, there were missing pieces and even with the pieces we had they didn't fit properly or they were too short. I even had to make 3 trips in one day to Home Depot to try and find similar screws so it can work and found nothing. So I needed up returning the set.
