Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Verified Reviewer Very disappointing! If it wasn't so much trouble to return, would have dumped it on their front door!
The holes did not align on three of the bolts. I have assembled many pieces of furniture, over the years, but had to hire someone to drill out the holes and help put the glider together. There were also washers and bolts missing so that I had to use the "extra" that were supplied - but still short on one of the padded washers. Then, to add insult to injury, when it was finally assembled, and I was ready to place the seat cushion on the glider - THE SEAM WAS RIPPED by the zipper! Very disappointed in you, Home Depot - and the quality of this product. Is there no inspection - especially of fabric components - before it is shipped? I had considered buying the matching chairs - so glad that I did not place that order! The 'great bargain' I thought I was getting - cost substantially more when I factor in what I had to pay for assembly. This was no bargain- Never again!

I had been shopping for a glider for the front porch and this one was close to what I wanted at a good sale price. Delivery was at the store and the pick up was easy and efficient.
Directions were easy to follow and the assembly went easily until trying to attach the seat to the back. Of the three attachment points, we could only get the center one to thread and hold adequately. The two outside attachments refused to thread and didn't seem to jive with the bolt threads. We ended up using an alternative attachment method which seems to be adequate. The cushions are nice and it makes a comfortable spot to lounge and listen to the birds while sipping my drink.

You definitely need two people to put this together! Some of the screws were really hard to get in but we sprayed a bit of WD40 on them so they turned easier. The allen wrench that comes with the hardware is kind of a piece of junk so if you have a better one at home, use it! Be careful when you slice open the box, as the cushions are right on top and you could damage/slice them. I ordered this online and had my brother take me in his pick-up truck to pick it up but the box was not that huge and I think it would've fit into the back seat or trunk of my car (a very tiny Mazda3).

I purchased the Eastham Patio Double Glider along with the Eastham 7-Piece Patio set in October 2014 for my sun porch. My boyfriend helped me put the glider together and it took us a couple of hours to assemble. I've had it for almost a year and it is quite comfortable. It fits two adults with plenty of room. I enjoy sitting on it and reading. It is exactly what I was looking for and love the glider.

Difficult to assembly - very poor instructions - holes did not align. You couldn't tighten screws down all the way On a number of screws when you tried to tighten with the supplied allen wrench the screw head insert became stripped rendering it totally useless. Bottom swing assembly very difficult to assembly. One of the holes on bottom wouldnt allow screws to tighten at all. Finally got thing together but I m hoping it wont fall apart when someone sits in it. Would not Recommend this product. Picked up at local Home depot after ordered on line and looks like box went thru a war zone.

We have had this glider for almost a year now and we totally enjoy it. It was a bit of a struggle to put together. At first we thought we were going to have to send it back because some of the bolts and parts just did not seem like they were meant to line up or go together. We were putting this together on a blanket on the lawn which was rather uneven and resulted in making it hard to line up some of the parts. If you put this together be sure to do it on a very even surface and don't don' t tighten all the nuts until you have all the pieces lined up an together. The glider has been outside the whole time and I have not noticed any rust developing but our porch is very deep and covered so the glider does not get wet even during the worst storms.

Picked up one of these for my wife, brought back memories of visiting her grandmother.
Works well with both of us on the glider. Cushions are comfortable. Have to make sure you start all of the hardware first then tighten up, helps with the alignments.
On line order and in store pickup worked well.
I would recommend this product

The assembly instructions were a little hard to follow, but once I figured them out it was a breeze, also the tool the send you to put it together takes a lot of work, so I suggest use a impact driver and be careful not to strip out the screws
