Answer:
I put this on my deck up against my house. Personally, I like a gentle rocking motion so only needed about 2" of clearance at the back of the glider. Frontal clearance isn't an issue at all.

Answer:
Probably want about a foot of clearance in the back, similar to a rocking chair. Moves forward a little, couple of inches.

Only about 4 inches for front & 4 inches for back, past the bottom frame. It's a nice glider . Looks good and is comfortable. You'll be happy with it.

Answer:
When it arrives, the box says 46 pounds so once you get all the packaging off I would say it's around 40 pounds once assembled. The cushions are really light and don't add that much weight.

As depicted in the photograph, they are beige in color. Once you get them home, you'll also notice that they have a discreet diamond pattern in the fabric too. They seem like they'll wear well, but it's too new to tell yet.

Eastham Patio Double Glider is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 44.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Sturdy and Comfortable well made and comfortable. went togetherreasonably easy. I dis it with one person but 2 would be easier for the last step. 1

Rated 1 out of 5 by from All messed up We ordered two of these. The first one was a nightmare to put together. Everything was bent out of place and none of the screw holes matched up. we had to pound things into shape in order for anything to match. It took three people and three to four hours to finally get together. The second one was a snap and everything matched up perfect. Although in the long-run we are currently enjoying both gliders, putting that first one together was something I hope I never have to do again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice! You definitely need two people to put this together! Some of the screws were really hard to get in but we sprayed a bit of WD40 on them so they turned easier. The allen wrench that comes with the hardware is kind of a piece of junk so if you have a better one at home, use it! Be careful when you slice open the box, as the cushions are right on top and you could damage/slice them. I ordered this online and had my brother take me in his pick-up truck to pick it up but the box was not that huge and I think it would've fit into the back seat or trunk of my car (a very tiny Mazda3).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this glider! We decided to purchase this instead of a swing for the deck this year. I was so glad I did. It sits comfortably and my husband had no issues putting it together. The fabric is very durable. Funny, when it gets rained on, you can sit on it very shortly after. All the water seems to run through the bottom quickly. That's a plus because when we had a swing, it was days before you could sit on it. So glad we got this glider!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks Great We have had this glider for almost a year now and we totally enjoy it. It was a bit of a struggle to put together. At first we thought we were going to have to send it back because some of the bolts and parts just did not seem like they were meant to line up or go together. We were putting this together on a blanket on the lawn which was rather uneven and resulted in making it hard to line up some of the parts. If you put this together be sure to do it on a very even surface and don't don' t tighten all the nuts until you have all the pieces lined up an together. The glider has been outside the whole time and I have not noticed any rust developing but our porch is very deep and covered so the glider does not get wet even during the worst storms.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not easy to assemble because of a design fault The glider was hard to assemble. The holes in the frame were stripped necessitating are going out again and buying self tapping screws, so the color did not match the frame. I tried to call the number listed but they closed at three o'clock PST ( 6 O'clock EST). Waited till the next day when I did get to speak to a rep. She is still trying to get me some touch paint.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Won't know until the hardware is shipped separately! Just picked up the box so it could be assembled. I like the color of the cushions better than the picture because the fabric is a bit more taupe and outdoorsy. Couldn't wait to put it together (though tentative after reading reviews). Unpacked the box to find the pieces nicely wrapped to prevent scratching, but there are no instructions and NO HARDWARE to be found! Called the local store where it had been picked up and were told to bring the entire product back. Nope, that won't work for me. Was given the Hampton Bay/Home Depot number to call directly. After speaking to two people, getting and giving several numbers, was told our hardware should arrive sometime next week. I really hope it goes smoother from here. The pieces look great...unassembled. So far, not impressed with the experience, but hope to be gliding on it soon.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointing! If it wasn't so much trouble to return, would have dumped it on their front door! The holes did not align on three of the bolts. I have assembled many pieces of furniture, over the years, but had to hire someone to drill out the holes and help put the glider together. There were also washers and bolts missing so that I had to use the "extra" that were supplied - but still short on one of the padded washers. Then, to add insult to injury, when it was finally assembled, and I was ready to place the seat cushion on the glider - THE SEAM WAS RIPPED by the zipper! Very disappointed in you, Home Depot - and the quality of this product. Is there no inspection - especially of fabric components - before it is shipped? I had considered buying the matching chairs - so glad that I did not place that order! The 'great bargain' I thought I was getting - cost substantially more when I factor in what I had to pay for assembly. This was no bargain- Never again!
