Rated 3 out of 5Â by Gustav1 not heavy enough
It would appear, considering the weight of this beautifully constructed stand that it would work well, However, I found I had to add additional weight to keep the umbrella in the stand stable. I also drilled through the umbrella post and put a carriage bolt through both the arm of the stand and the umbrella post. The addition of two ten pound weight disks stabilized the stand, but also covers up the filigree of the cast base defeating the purpose of having a base which is aesthetically pleasing.

Easy to assemble.
Looks awesome! Only real task was breaking down the boxes for the garbage man to take.

Umbrella base is nice but assembly didn't match up exactly with Edington Umbrella. Can't get it stable.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by kats heavy, heavy but not wind proof.
It's pretty and seemingly well-made. Instructions easy to follow, Let's say at 25 pound I cannot move it around but the wind can. Within 5 minutes on what for me is a mild wind day (sporadic gusts to 20) the umbrella it supports and the base had tipped over. SO now the base it is held down with two heavy flat rocks. If you live in a wind area you too will need rocks,
