Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy installation, beautiful finish, durable wear The easiest flooring I have every installed, I am an DIY guy with not a tremendous amount of skill but fairly handy. The flooring was perfectly meshed at the seams and was very easy to make the joins. It looks stunning and perhaps my wife will stay with me for another 10 years as a result of this project:) August 19, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect for our Basement This product was so easy to use. I have never installed flooring and it was such a breeze. There were some reviews that complained about the planks not clicking in but I did not have this issue. You will definitely need a floor installation kit but those cost ~$18. Get knee pads as well! It went in beautifully and I could not be happier with this product. December 6, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by scratchs easy I can drop something on the floor and it scatchs .it don't have to be heavy can can be anything from a glass or a can of hairspray. It looks good and went together good but durability is bad. February 7, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not too shabby It is not hardwood, so don't expect to fool anyone with this product. However, if the prestige factor isn't a concern for you, I think this is a pretty good value for anyone looking for laminate flooring. Installation wasn't too bad - I am not really much of a do-it-yourselfer - I am not a handy man! But I managed to get this installed with the help of my 10 year old daughter, and am happy with the results. I did have to restart once, however - after about 7 rows (1/3 of floor), I was not happy with the way it was looking or feeling... too many ridges. Did some more online research, and realized I just wasn't getting the grooves lined up tight as I went. Took it apart and redid it with a helper (2nd person is VERY useful to line up tongue and groove while pounding from other end), and it came out nice. Have to be a little careful with the pounding because the tongues can be easily damaged, but I managed to only destroy a very few. Have had it installed for only a few weeks now, but so far it looks good. Considering doing another room with it. Hardwood would be nicer to have, but at approximately 1/3 the cost, I am happy with the decision we made. October 22, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by There are some tricks to this trade I started out in our Living Room and Dining Area, then my wife said what the heck let's do the rest of the house. It would have been a lot better to tell me that ahead of time as now I will build two custom transitions. For the most part I've done the installation by myself. One trick is to take a scrap piece of flooring and connect it to the two pieces that will be tapped together. This aligns those joints and when you tap the two joints will be perfect. I use to put my knee down on the board I was tapping and my foot on the receiving board, got a great work out but when you're doing 2000 square feet it isn't practical. ALSO: When joining boards make sure there is no debris in the channel otherwise the boards will not click. I hope this helps someone out. November 28, 2013
