Can you replace bulbs when they burn out?

We have this type of system, can you replace bulbs when they burn out? Or do you need to be a whole new light attachment?
Asked by: Jamie
Yes, very easily. They simply go in or out with a quarter turn of the bulb.

Customer Reviews

Flexible Track Head Antique Bronze Finish is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from looks great when lit up Found track very stiff, I built a mold from two sheets of plywood and created the ceiling footprint of our kitchen in my shop. I sandwiched 28 feet of track to the contours and straight runs that I wanted and set the track by using a heat gun and letting it cool. I stapled a stick mold of this to the ceiling and then layed out my pylon locations, then mounted the fixtures. We added two leaded pendulum lights from the shopping channel over the peninsula and wow!!!!. Folks, one problem, the 50 watt halogens are to hot, because the bulbs are frosted on the sides to let light out to illuminate the glass shades, the heat is trapped inside the bullit and the sockets fail. If you use conventional halogen bulbs, with reflective sides, heat is released but the shades aren't lit. I'm looking at the led replacements but the $200.00 investment concerns me if I don't like the results, providing adequate light for the shades and not overheating the sockets is the issue. Drilling the rear bullits out, to release the heat might work but then you have light escaping. My wife dims the fixtures down and runs them minimal amount of time, this helps but ruins the effect. We have had two fixture failures in 5 months. We live in Canada and these fixtures are not sold at Home Depot here so it's a hassle to get replacements. Begs the question, maybe CSA wouldn't approve to sell for this very reason!?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful we bought 4 of these and 2 pendants to put on the track system...was very skeptical to buy due to the reviews. These are really beautiful and I couldnt be happier. The color is very close to what the pictures show, DO NOT BE discouraged by others reviews! I am an interior decorator, I have pretty decent taste, and I bought these for my own home. They are very pretty.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice lights! Positives: I like how the light comes through the glass, giving our log cabin a nice glow. We have similar but more expensive fixtures that have a thick coating inside the glass so it does not really light up, and you cannot see the beautiful amber colors. Negative: The rope like flexible track is kind of cheep looking and does not really hold its shape as well as a metal track would. Still trying to order the adapter to put a pendant on the track, but they never seem to have it in stock. Also, the stickers on the fixture did not come off easy, and we had to use goof off, which took off part of the finish as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from beautiful fixtures! these murano glass track lighting fixtures may look dull and dark "at rest" - but even then, they look great with the bronze finish of the fixture and the track: the ensemble is altogether very classy - but they are luminous and beautiful once lit! They are bright warm yellow with specks of deep red, blue, grey and green. It will be very easy to pair them up with window treatment and wall color. They were on sale too, which is not a bad deal!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beware: Not as pictured Picture shows a nice warm amber glass shade. Reality in the box is a muddy, greenish color shade with wisps of white/red/black swirled on the outside. Pretty ugly, returning them. The picture on the box is the same as on the web-site, just does not agree with its own contents. Checked a second box, same thing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ordered the wrong one. I'm sure this fixture would have worked fine if it had been the correct one. It appears to be of good quality and it very attractive - the photo doesn't do it justice. I will be returnng it after ordering the right one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A nicer spot for the rail light kit.... I actually bought this spot just to get the amber shade to use on the brushed nickel spot fixtures that came with my kit.
