Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Musky300 Unique Look and Moves a TON of Air
We bought this fan to replace an existing (ugly) fan right in the middle of our living room ceiling. We wanted something to not stand out and be somewhat contemporary. This fan definitely has the unique factor and blends in (re: NOT stand out) with the ceiling. It is easy and straightforward to install and the wall switch with 4 fan speeds can put the speed from very slow to high-speed. The highest 2 (even 3) speed setting definitely move and circulate a lot of air around our living room, which is 300-400SF with 11ft ceilings. Highly recommend if you like the look. Also, as another poster commented, when the fan is spinning it almost gives it an optical illusion affect of wobbling due to the clear transparent fan blades.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nikegal Elegant and Modern. Works fantastic and goes with everything!
I purchased 6 of these fans. I wanted something that was modern and sleek, and that did not distract from my decor. I wasn't sure about the look of the blades, but I am happy to say that I am very pleased. This fan looks elegant and classy, and not cheap at all (which was my worry). I have placed it in several rooms that had can lights or other lighting already, and it looks fantastic! It is super quiet and works extremely well. I love the different settings too. The only thing I can say that was a little negative was the ease of installation. It is not for a novice by any means. However, once it is up, it is well worth the hassle! Love this fan!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by kygemob Great air movement!
I have a room that was an addition. Always the hottest room in the house. This fan has great air movement. I can stand at the entrance to the room and feel the air move past my legs. The acrylic blades attach by heavy duty steel arms. This is solid construction. One of the better fans I have purchased. There is no light kit because of how the blades attach. As a note, looking up at the fan it looks as if its unbalanced. The movement of the clear blades causes this. Have to look at the fan from the side above the blades.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mike Quiet, powerful fan but not light adaptable
If you don't need lights, this fan is a real winner. For a fan that moves so much air, it is very quiet. Due to the clear blades, it looks like it wobbles when it is running but it doesn't (its an optical illusion). A light dimmer can also control the fan speed - I found this out by accident. Its only drawback is that a light kit cannot be installed.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Handy Perfect fit
Quick and easy installation for a great looking item at a reasonable price point. Quiet and stable from the first go round. I would recommend this fan as a cost effective alternate to the higher end fans on the market to keep in budget without compromising quality.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Howlingatya Looks Great, Runs Great !
I installed 2 of these fans in my Great Room in 2005, they have run almost continuously since then. I love the way they look, and they don't fight with my art work or anything else due to the clear blades. I am hoping that I will be able to find replacement blades for them, seeing how I have cracked a couple of them while moving ladders, Xmas trees etc. because they are almost invisible.

Fan is distracting on a 8 ft ceiling. It flickers as the clear blades spin. As others have said appears to wobble, but it is just the clear and metal blades spinning past the metal base. I replaced it, hoping to use it elsewhere with a higher ceiling less at sight line. Cool looking and moves air well.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Low Key Class
As you stand in the lighting department at Home Depot and look up at all the ceiling fans the sleek little Florentine IV doesn't make much of an impression, competing with most of the other fans that shout, "I'm a ceiling fan!"
That is exactly why I bought it. The blades are clear Plexiglas; you can see right through them when the blades are not turning. The motor housing and base have a nickel like finish to give this fan a classy look. I have eight-foot ceilings and needed a low-key look. First I bought one for the bedroom and liked it so much I bought one for the living room as well. It comes with a nice 4-position wall switch for a full rage of speeds. It is quiet and both fans were perfectly balanced out of the box, no wobble. I am very happy with the Florentine IV.
