No matter what anyone tells you, this product although looks beautiful. It does not blow any and I mean any air at all. Blades are too wide and heavy, which slowes the motor down and set to close together. You may get some air out to the sides, but absolutely none goes straight down.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tihannah Love this fan!
This is labeled an "outdoor" fan, but I had two already installed in a previous rental home and loved the way they looked. This fan looks lovely in my livingroom and I couldn't wait to get it up. It took about an hour to install and fits beautifully with my color palette. I couldn't be happier. Also, I read previous negative comments regarding "no air flow". I had it on the highest speed, but had to turn it down because it was too much air, so not sure what others are referring to unless they're speaking of the airflow effect when installed outside?

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by mrbills78 Tropical paradise!
This is my second purchase of a Havana fan, I have installed both in outdoor spaces, and couldn't be happier with the results! I found the fans to be incredibly easy to install after reading the instructions thoroughly, I would estimate each install took less than 10 minutes. The fan is practically silent even on high speed. I love the slide on mounting bracket feature. The fan moves a wonderful amount of air and keeps my patio spaces nice and windy. I am thinking about changing the light kit to the Hampton Bay audio light kit, as it looks like a great way to add some tunes without getting carried away.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Paige Looks great! Doesn't move as much air as I thought though
We love the way these fans looks, exactly the tropical look we were going for. Function well after about a month so far but they don't move as much air as the traditional fan blades do. I thought they might actually move more. However, it is still sufficient but more stylish than functional. Perfect on low for a nice easy air flow.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DERDMR DON'T BUY THIS FAN
Have you ever heard the term "looks good but doesn't work"? Well, that is the Havana 48" ceiling fan. The fan blades give it a nice look for our back porch (we bought three of them) but the fan hardly moves any air. We can stand under it and can barely feel a small amount of airflow when on high speed. We moved into our new home at the end of summer 2014 and didn't use the fans until the summer of 2015. It was too late to return the fans so I tried to get Home Depot to send me new blades (the blades provided have a concave shape) but they would not help us at all. THANKS HOME DEPOT.
If you want a fan that performs it's basic function, don't get this one.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by ForeverInDebt Built for Looks Not for Function
Had 3 of these fans installed during new home construction. One installed indoors in a modest size Den and two installed outdoors in a screen porch. Selected fans for their looks, UL listing for wet environments, and their airflow rating (4467 CFM). The fans look good, are quite, wobble-fee, etc., etc., etc. They serve all intended purposes except they DO NOT MOVE AIR. To my recollection, I have never seen a ceiling fan that moved less air.
I don't have a single complaint about this fan except for airflow. If airflow is not important to you, I recommend this fan. For me, airflow was an important factor. Therefore, I have to give it a fair overall rating and a thumbs down on recommendation.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by zuzieq Overall great looking fan
This is a really nice fan, the blades look a little cheap coming out of the box, but look great once they're up. My main problem with this fan was the instructions. When you get to the part where you affix the blades to the motor, you come to the realization that the screwdriver dosen't fit into the space. There is actually a rubber insert in the cap that is covering the motor, remove the rubber plug and it gives you an opening that allows you to screw the blades onto the motor. Why they don't tell you this is beyond me. It took us over an hour and much frustration to figure it out. Hoping to save someone else the frustration.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DrWho Lots of movement, no airflow. NONE!
Had for three years now. Just as useless as when I installed it.
I'm baffled by the physics of how something this large can move so fast, yet leave the air virtually undisturbed. It's an impressive monument to incompetence.
Light output is rather terrible as well.
