Rated 5 out of 5Â by Paige Looks great! Doesn't move as much air as I thought though
We love the way these fans looks, exactly the tropical look we were going for. Function well after about a month so far but they don't move as much air as the traditional fan blades do. I thought they might actually move more. However, it is still sufficient but more stylish than functional. Perfect on low for a nice easy air flow.

This is a really nice fan, the blades look a little cheap coming out of the box, but look great once they're up. My main problem with this fan was the instructions. When you get to the part where you affix the blades to the motor, you come to the realization that the screwdriver dosen't fit into the space. There is actually a rubber insert in the cap that is covering the motor, remove the rubber plug and it gives you an opening that allows you to screw the blades onto the motor. Why they don't tell you this is beyond me. It took us over an hour and much frustration to figure it out. Hoping to save someone else the frustration.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by csummersc Beautiful Fan; Does not move air
I have been looking for this palm leaf type fan for a long
time. I saw them in Florida at the Bahama Breeze restaurant. Installation was standard since I've installed
quite a few. I bought two of them to go on my deck. Looks great with one exception. You can't feel any air or breeze from these fans. I'm highly disappointed. Very quiet, but no air. I wish I had read the other review before I made my purchase. I moved the switch on the top and got the same results in both positions. Threw the boxes away, now I probably can't take them back. If you want it for the looks, get it. If you want to cool off your space, stay away from this fan.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by beachlife LOVE this fan
We bought and installed 9 of this exact fan for our beach home, 3 are outside. After 8 years they all still work, though the exterior fans are beginning to rust and age in the salt air. Our builder gave them 3 years before corroding! Other fans do give more air if on high speed, but these have been satisfactory for us, and it is HOT here in Hawaii! Perhaps consider the height of your ceilings if you need more air? The plastic blades worried me when I opened the box but they look so tropical and perfect after installation! I will replace any outworn fan with the exact fan again, IF ever needed!

Bought this fan for a master bedroom renovation. I do not understand what all the fuss is about...I had it professionally installed. Quiet, lots of air, keep it on medium flow, let it run for two days nonstop on high before adjusting. The electrician changed my light switch to three settings, I never touch the fan for adjustment. Most beautiful fan I have ever seen. Saw it on Houzz master bedroom design first. This review comes after 2 week install. Happy Tropics Baby!!
