Customer Questions & Answers

This is a good price, but how do you order it when your out of stock and the sale ends tomorrow

Asked by: Cary
I would not order this product, due to assembly issues. I had screws break off during assembly and now im waiting on parts that are on back order. From the time of purchase to the actual use, it will probably end up reaching 6 weeks. Buy a different set.

Customer Reviews

Haver Hill 7-Piece Patio Dining Set is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great looking furniture set. Big hassle to assemble. I could have easily given this product three or possibly two stars overall just due to the extreme hassle of assembly that should have been pretty straightforward. The overall appearance and utility once complete though do outweigh the time and effort involved. Perhaps I got a bum set but because of several inaccuracies in manufacturing, there were multiple bolt holes that did not line up between frames and legs. Three were so off that the bolts themselves broke off well before being tightened (two in chairs and one in the table). Fortunately these areas seem supported by the remaining bolts but time will tell. The main issue is that to save freight space, the chairs are packaged inside one another so that you have to reshape four of them for assembly. If you have a second person it will be much easier to try to align the bolt holes otherwise you need to be creative (the included tool helps marginally at keeping the frames somewhat near the required shape). If you have any resistance at all to inserting a bolt, start over or use your own hardware less you break off the bolt and have lost that spot for assembly strength. I'll use a screw remover in the future if necessary. The table assembly isn't too bad, but the frame does need some "redirecting" to get it to line up with the tabletop support. There is a hole in both the tabletop glass (sealed) and table frame for an umbrella if you want to add one (not included in this set). All in all, the finished product looks very good (5 stars) but the assembly is a pain (2 stars). If you have the option of getting it assembled for you, do it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Difficult to put together Table and chairs are nice looking. Had a very difficult time putting them all together. Bolt holes didn't line up and it took brute force to get the bolts in place. Nuts were welded at angles that made fitment hard. Need better factory quality control to ensure an easier time of putting it together. Stripped one bolt trying to get it to line up. Would have rated it higher except for that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very High End Look, Worth the Price and the Effort This is a great furniture set. It looks great and is very comfortable. The only downside was the time and hassle involved in assembly. It took well over two hours to assemble everything but once done, it was great to sit in those plush, comfortable chairs. Everything is very sturdy and has held up well to the weather

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very satisfied with this product. The product was pretty much as I expected. Shipped within the expected timeframe. The assembling was not difficult, however, it is a two person job. The product is nice looking and functional.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Difficult to put together is an understatement! This product looks very nice but is next to impossible to put together. The chairs are comfortable after you spend 45 minutes per chair bending and forcing the screw holes to line up while putting them together. The table, well due to the holes not lining up, two screws broke off in the table base. This means the legs wont stay on. We've ordered new parts and plan to have it shipped to the store to have the base of the table assembled. We also had three screws break off in the chairs while trying to assemble them. We'll hope that with 6 of the 4 screws in on the 2 chairs with broken screws, that they'll hold up. The delivery time took much longer than stated, but we finally receive the furniture after about 4 weeks. My recommendation is to have the furniture delivered to the store assembled and delivered to your home ready to use. DO NOT ATTEMPT to put this together yourself. I'm 36 and pretty handy, and thought i could assemble pretty quick and use the set, but I've learned to listen to others reviews! I would upload a picture, but unfortunately, the parts will take 2-3 additional weeks to arrive, so we're without table for now. Hopefully it'll arrive before winter!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful set, but charge up your Ryobi (or Makita or SKIL) When you cram 6 tubular steel chairs into a box, something's bound to bend out of shape, and that's why I recommend that you have your power drill and a 10mm nut driver bit ready. The wimpy stamped metal wrench included in the set is barely up to the task given the number of bolts you'll need to torque into place after reshaping the chair frames. That said, the reward for your efforts is a beautiful comfortable set that invites sunrise breakfast outside or dinner at dusk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautifully crafted! This is such a beautiful dining set that is well-made and sturdy. We were ecstatic to get this item and are even more ecstatic to use this beautiful set when the snow melts!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible. Cheap hardware, overly difficult assembly. I have returned this product due to the overly difficult assembly and cheap hardware. This set actually requires a special tool to bend the chairs back into shape, as they are intentionally warped just to fit together in the box. This is an utterly foolish design flaw. The hardware is cheap, easily strips, and does not easily thread. One of the screws actually broke in half during assembly and became lodged in the chair. I'm glad someone wasn't sitting on it at the time! I do not recommend this product, and would not wish it on my worst enemy.
