Had installed by Home Depot and they did an excellent job. Professional and very courteous. I cannot believe the transformation it made in our home by getting rid of the carpet. Looks like a totally different home now an looks bigger. 1000 sf installed downstairs and love love love it. Some reviews harp on the cleaning but ANY darker floor will show dust and needs cleaned. No brainier. Cleans easy with the Bruce spray cleaner with the wide terry cloth pad and handle. No big deal. So far so good. I gave the sample pieces the torture test before deciding on this floor. I beat it with stuff and tried my best to put scratches in it with only small surface scratches that appear more as a scuff than a scratch and most of it buffed out to wear it was hardly noticeable. I soaked them in water for an hour and had no swelling or bubbling of the finished surface. Not sure why people have bad reviews on it. Maybe more of a lifestyle than the product itself. I am totally satisfied and happy with it.

It looks great and that's the only good thing about it. it was a pain in the butt to work with it cracks and chips when you look at it hard it came damaged before I even opened the box .I am just not that impressed with the product overall and if I had it to do over I would go another route.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Svend A very good laminate floor
The worst part about my experience wasn't with the floor but rather the shipping that damaged the corners of a full box.. The floor itself is very nice. It's affordable, looks great, and is easy to install. Great bang for your buck!

This is the second time I installed a floating floor as a DIY project and this product is 10xs better then the last one. I read the reviews about chipping and the product received damaged. None of my planks were damaged at all! I did encounter some chips but only when locking the final piece together, but obviously if your hitting a metal tapper against a laminate plank to hard it's going to chip! Also I bought the long plastic tapper and this did not collapse any of the tounge and groove. This floor locked in pretty well, you have to tap each piece together one at a time otherwise it won't lock. I plan on using this product for the rest of my house. Before I purchased I compared the tounge and groove to others at Home Depot including pergo, this product I felt was the better then all of them.

I was hesitant, but it was worth it. Kind of a pain that none of the stores carry it in-stock. I had to order from the store and wait 2 weeks for it to be shipped my store's location. Once installed, I realized I needed a few more boxes. This time I decided to order online instead. It came DAYS later. I highly recommend ordering from online vs. in-store! I paid a few dollars for delivery to come straight to my house, but it was well worth it to not have to walk around on partially unfinished floors for a few more weeks.
As far as the look: It looks great and we've had a lot of compliments! It does not look like real wood, but it does look really nice. I'd even say it looks pretty high-end. But I don't think you'd be able to pass it off as hardwood flooring. It's very glossy, so I was afraid with kids and a dog, that it would show everything, but it doesn't! I just sweep it occasionally, and quickly run a damp mop over it, and we're back to a clean, smudge free floor!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Happyuser1 poor reviews are wrong.
I installed this myself about 18 months ago in our kitchen, dining room, foyer, rear entry, and hallway. No special care and no noticeable scratches. I but a couple dents in it by dropping heavy pointy items but anything other than carpet would have shown something. Installation had its tough spots but that is just the way laminate is. You have to have patience, (I try), the right tools, ability to look ahead, and view/read the instructions. We clean by vacuuming and the using a swisher/bona type sprayer mop. Highly recommend.

Love the looks of this flooring. Unfortunately, you need to lay a bead of glue into the last piece on the walls edge - IF - it is a small (thin) piece that had to be ripped a final filler to finish. That all depends on the size of you room. It also chips. I have had 2 other types of laminate flooring. BOTH I could drop heavy items on and they never chipped. Dented - Yes. But not chipped. This product chips. Dropped a small catspaw after finishing the room during clear-out - chip right in the middle of the room. If not for those 2 things. This would be the best flooring that I've ever used. Of course - dark wood not good if you have animals that shed.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DIYguy Great cost-effective product
I just completed installation of this product in my house (complete DIY project). So far, the product seems durable. It looks fantastic. It was easy to install. It is a cost-effective flooring solution. Be aware, however, that it is a relatively lower-end product (based on my own shopping around), and so keep your expectations reasonable. I plan on using rugs, etc. to guard against scratches.
Note: This was my first time installing laminate flooring.
