Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 60" Shop Ceiling Fan As others have indicated, this is a great fan. I bought two for my workshop, and they really move a lot of air at the highest setting. They're both quiet, with no rattles, and run very smoothly. I think the "airfoil" design of the blade really makes a big difference compared to other fans with flat blades. I love that the remote wired switch was included in the deal for each fan. Really a great price for the product, and I was relieved to see the silver paint on the fan blades wasn't scratched like others had experienced. Only drawbacks are 1) Like everyone else has stated, the numbering on the switch is "backwards" -- i.e. the "highest" setting (4) is the slowest speed, and the "lowest setting (1) is the highest speed -- odd, but not unmanageable, and 2) while they are reversable for summer/winter air flow, you have to climb up a ladder, unscrew and lift up the top cover to access the reverse switch -- rather a hassle, but then your'e only doing that twice a year (if at all). Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LOVE MY FANS! I had electricians install two of these in my hair salon. I've used them for about one year nonstop with no issues. I typically run them on the lowest setting all the time, but when I kick it up to the highest number, I can create some serious airflow and I love that!! I'm about to buy another one or two for my office at home- I prefer the brushed nickel one though and all they have right now is black or white. I'll give it some time and then decide if I can just live with white or black. Either way, I'm going to get another one or two. April 3, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by So far so good! I haven't needed to use the fan yet because it's been pretty mild but it looks great! I had an electrician friend install it but it seemed pretty simple enough. One thing of note, all the photos show it hanging from the long rod (roughly 18" or so) but that rod came as an extra attachment. The fan actually came assembled with the short rod (roughly 5") which was ideal since my ceilings aren't super high. So the total height from bottom of the fan to the ceiling is roughly 13". Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Looks Great Looks Fab.....doesn't blow a lot of air-and has 3 weak speeds July 7, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Value The fan is very quiet, vibration free, attractive and moves a lot of air. The included 4 speed wall switch was an added bonus. Highly recommended, great value. May 23, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not a bad fan These fans are not bad, I put two of them in my living room. On high they will blow anything away thats not held down! Very powerfull! However, the blades are kind of a disappointment, the would look much better if they were metal. They are black plastic spraypainted silver, problem is they scratch very easily showing the black underneath. Since they are not stocked in any home depot store, you have to have them shipped, both of mine had scratched blades when they arrived. Installation was easy and straightforward, and they come with a 4 speed wall switch. June 12, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by lacks speed control the ceiling fan came without speed control as advertised, when I called to have them sent to me I was told I would have to wait two weeks, and they were hardwired controllers, not the handheld type that most people prefer June 2, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great airflow... a few issues Put this in a house where there had been complaints that the airflow of the previous ceiling fans was insufficient. No complaints on airflow of this unit! I had worried that "industrial..." would look bad in a home setting... They look great. The instructions were backwards in two places, both concerning the electricals: it would have you cover up access, then wire it up inside what you just covered up. The issue was obvious so nothing big... And these are easy to assemble, disassemble, and reassemble should you accidentally follow the instructions. Also comical is the switch labeling: it goes from 0...4 where 0 is off, 4 is low speed, and 1 is high speed. The only big concern is the switch: when you switch fan speeds, you see arcing inside the switch. I bought two of these and both do it... so it wasn't a defective unit. Cross your fingers on that one. December 6, 2014
