Answer:
Thank you for your interest in the Industrial fan. This fan must be installed with a wall control with set speeds. Either with the included wall control or with another variable speed switch - not a dial type. Installing this with a rheostat control will damage the capacitors and eventually the motor, voiding the warranty.

Answer:
Thank you for your question. We do not recommend installing 3 of these fans in series as the first in series would draw the most power and the other 2 would receive less power.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Cool looking and moves a lot of air, but loud. This 60" industrial looking three blade fan is a great value. Easy to install. A few things that I would want to know about this fan but didn't. The blades are painted plastic or composite. I thought they were going to be real stainless steel. The fan itself moves a great amount of air, even on the lowest settings. The included fan wall control switch is a great value and works well, although it is labelled from 1-4 and 1 is the fastest speed, 4 is the slowest speed, which for me is the opposite of what I'd expect. The biggest issue I have is the noise this fan makes. It actually makes a faint motor noise which sounds like rough bearings grinding and the other noise is a pretty strong wind noise coming from the fan blades themselves. On full speed, it literally sounds like a helicopter. I like the unique industrial look, but we are considering returning the fan. August 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great fan - Amazing Air circulation even at 2nd highest speed. I put it in a 20x20 Loft and it has Great Air circulation. 4 speeds allow you to control how fast you want it to run. very industrial-chic looking fan. easy to mount. Not very quite and i expected that as at this CFM, the machine is bound to make some noise, probably 2.5 to 3 sones on noise level but the sound is very bearable. We have built in recessed lights in our loft so this fan (without light) was perfect for our need. very satisfied! August 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great for 10 ft ceilings and up! This fan refreshes the room tremendously. We put it in the living/dining area of our rental apartment, which has high ceilings and an open concept. It works great and looks modern to match the airy and clean space. August 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love this fan Got this fan for our tattoo shop.. It's super sleek design is perfect and it puts off some air. We had to put Velcro on some pics to keep them from flapping too much on the flash racks. Highly recommend for wide open spaces. August 16, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by not happy with customer service and the switch my switch burnt out a speed shortly after purchasing this fan... I called customer service. after being put on hold and talking to a few different people they tell me its not the switch and tell me they are going to send out the part I need. I call back 2 weeks later after receiving nothing and call back again. they were apologetic and tell me something's coming out in the mail today. they send me out a part which isn't the correct one, the switch went bad, along with no paperwork for where this part is supposed to go. I am dreading calling back to try and get the switch I need that lost the low speed. fan looks awesome and would be great if functioned properly... December 12, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great amount of Air Circulation We put it in our Loft/entertainment room. Looks good and have amazing Air circulation. Really Fast, love it. One thing that if you want to change it from Forward to reverse circulation, you have to unscrew the cap and then get to the reversing button. Other fans have the button exposed which is easier, just get up the ladder n flip the switch but this one you need a screw driver. Noise level is ok. Not very quite but at that speed and air circulation, i expected it to have some sound. July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Installed in my workshop I was going to buy a drum fan, but decided to save floor space and bought one of these. Installation was pretty easy. I really like the wall mount control. I can select the and turn it on/off and control the speed from the same switch. It moves a lot of air and isn't as noisy as a drum fan. Glad I bought it. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Does the job This 3 blade industrial looking ceiling fan lived up to my expectations. I live in the California desert and my garage temperatures reach 120 degrees in the summer. Not having a pre-wired fan outlet and no access to the attic, I chose to install a cord and power it from the AC outlet used by my garage door opener. I plugged the cord into a third party remote receiver and everything works fine. Only potential issue is that I have to ladder up to the fan to change the speed. July 12, 2016
