Can you substitute CFL bulbs for incandescent

Asked by: JS
Sure. As long as it has the same size screw thread, you are good. The color of the light may change significantly vs. incandescent, depending on the particular CFL bulb you choose. Be prepared for that.

Can this be installed on vaulted ceilings? (angled Mount)

I want to buy, but I can't until I know this
Asked by: Peaches
Yes, You may need a longer down rod to maintain proper blade clearance when installing on a steep, sloped ceiling. The maximum angle allowable is 18° away from horizontal. If the canopy touches the hanger ball/down rod assembly then remove the decorative canopy bottom cover and turn the canopy180° before attaching the canopy to the mounting bracket. If you have any questions, please call Hampton Bay at 877-527-0313.
