Answer:
Sure. As long as it has the same size screw thread, you are good. The color of the light may change significantly vs. incandescent, depending on the particular CFL bulb you choose. Be prepared for that.

Answer:
Yes, You may need a longer down rod to maintain proper blade clearance when installing on a steep, sloped ceiling. The maximum angle allowable is 18° away from horizontal. If the canopy touches the hanger ball/down rod assembly then remove the decorative canopy bottom cover and
turn the canopy180° before attaching the canopy to the mounting bracket.

Customer Reviews

Lagano II 52 in. Oil Rubbed Bronze Ceiling Fan is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from the price is right, the deal is real There were just a couple of small things. The two mounting screws were missing, we had to run out and buy two. Also the pull chains needed a drop of lube, they don't pull easy. The lighting is very dim but I'll make it work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Fan The fan shipped fast without any issue. It looks great and is super quite. Also puts out a good amount of air. I bought 3 of them on sale. For the price you can not get a better fan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful fan, easy to install, works great. We bought this fan from just a photo on the internet and am very pleased. It is a very nice-looking fan with an attractive light fixture. No problems with installation and it works just fine. I would recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Fan for the Price Typical assembly for a ceiling fan. Always slightly painful - the more you install the better you get. Was impressed with the overall quality of the rubbed bronze finish. To me at least, seems on par with fans costing twice as much. We'll see how long it lasts, but so far so good. Recommended.
