Answer:
Sure. As long as it has the same size screw thread, you are good. The color of the light may change significantly vs. incandescent, depending on the particular CFL bulb you choose. Be prepared for that.

Answer:
Yes, You may need a longer down rod to maintain proper blade clearance when installing on a steep, sloped ceiling. The maximum angle allowable is 18° away from horizontal. If the canopy touches the hanger ball/down rod assembly then remove the decorative canopy bottom cover and
turn the canopy180° before attaching the canopy to the mounting bracket.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice! I ordered the fan on the Internet. It arrived very quickly. When my husband and I opened the box I eras pleased with the looks and quality of the fan. March 4, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Fan for the Price Typical assembly for a ceiling fan. Always slightly painful - the more you install the better you get. Was impressed with the overall quality of the rubbed bronze finish. To me at least, seems on par with fans costing twice as much. We'll see how long it lasts, but so far so good. Recommended.
