Answer:
Thank you for your interest in the Latham fan. This fan is compatible with LED bulbs as long as the bulbs are rated for use in enclosed fixtures. You may experience malfunction due to heat issues if using standard LED bulbs that are not designed for enclosed fixtures.

Answer:
Thank you for your interest in the Latham fan. Due to the design of this fan, it must be installed using either the included downrod or an extension downrod (for angled mount installation). If you need a fan to be mounted close to ceiling, we would suggest either a hugger style fan or a tri-mount fan.

Answer:
The light is dimmable with a wall dimmer switch and dimmable bulb. The remote controls the fan and whether the light is on or off, but does not control dimming.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good looking fan. Broad light spread. Good looking fan. Broad light spread. Doesn't put out very much air even at high speed - ok for small rooms but not medium sized room. August 23, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not for ALL angled ceilings, hired an electrician to replace the one on our vaulted ceiling. no where on the directions when buying it does it mention that the angle cant be more then 18 degrees. beautiful fan. to bad the description wasn't more clear. August 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Modern Looking Ceiling Fan That Isn't Too Industrial Looking This is a great ceiling fan for mid-size/medium rooms. I purchased two for both my master and spare bedrooms. The style/look are amazing. I do wish the blade color options were different, but still good. The brushed nickel look is great. I purchased these on a recent sale, so the value was very good (only about $120 each). Installation was fairly good (especially better than the $400 that an electrician was going to charge me). I made sure to read the instructions thoroughly so when it came down to step by step everything was smooth. Diagrams were good, all the components were there. The first fan took about 2 hours (on and off...I wanted to take my time and do it slowly, so I installed it in sections instead of doing everything at once) to do, but it worked the first time I turned on the remote! Big sigh o'relief! It was hard simply because I have 10 foot ceilings and rickety ladder! The second fan took barely an hour. July 5, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by love this fan Love this fan. I bought three fans and they were professionally installed. The electrician said they were fairly easy to install.Fans are very quite, work well and look great and are a great value for the money! July 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome fan! This fan was easy to install. Quiet! And beautiful. July 14, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product I purchased this fan at a great sale price and worth the money. Great looking and not exactly easy to install but following the instructions is a breeze. I you are looking for a ceiling fan with nice looks and quality this it. June 16, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Buyer beware I bought 3 of these fans. I just hooked up the first one, flipped the breaker on and tested it. Lights work, but fan is stationery. All I hear is a hum. Broke out my multimeter and got 120v for all cables. Thing is a legitimate dud. I hope the other two aren't the same. Hampton Bay has no contact us info so i guess I'm on my own on this one.... Don't buy it. May 7, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great fan Ceiling fans are all about the motor everything else is secondary Great Motor Great fan love the color easy to install what's a fan without a remote remote is very handy June 28, 2016
