Answer:
The wall switch will only send power or disconnect power to the entire unit. When you turn off the wall switch, all power will be disconnected to the unit, so nothing will work (fan or light). When you turn the switch back on, the unit will continue the last setting it was on (whether it be the Light On {and whatever dimmer setting you had it on last} or Off; and Fan Off, High, Medium, Or Low.)

Answer:
Thank you for your interest in the Lazerro II Ceiling Fan, this fan is only remote operated and the wall switch is only going to operate the fan and light on the last setting left by the remote.

Answer:
I am not an electrician, but I doubt you could do both and have it work with both a remote or wall switch. It has a receiver built into the wiring above the fan. An electrician could probably bypass the remote feature but there is no pull chain to then control the fan speed.

Answer:
it does not. there's a switch on the actual fan, which I guess you would do when the seasons change.

Answer:
I tried LED Dimmable Candelabra light bulbs, and the lights did not dim. They did dim with the regular 40W Candelabras that came with the unit. When I installed 2 LED and 1 Regular 40W Bulb, they all dimmed, but I'm not sure if this is healthy for the relay/receiver. I am going to try another type of energy efficient, dimmable bulbs; that is not LED.

Answer:
You can use candelabra cfl or LED light bulbs. However remote only turns light on or off. Fan has three speed choices, but I don't see being able to use dimable bulbs. At least not with my remote.

can this fan be installed on an angled/sloped ceiling (that is ~14' tall)?
if yes, what is the maximum slope/angle that will work?
does the ceiling fan kit include the mounting hardware to install this fan on a sloped/angle ceiling?
if not, is mounting hardware available which would allow this fan to install this fan on a sloped/angle ceiling? where do i buy this extra hardware?

Answer:
This fan can be installed on a sloped ceiling with the included canopy but the maximum slope angle is 18 degrees. If your slope is greater than that you can purchase a slope kit at Home Depot, here's one you can order online (http://www.homedepot.com/p/NuTone-Sloped-Oil-Rubbed-Bronze-Ceiling-Fan-Adapter-CFSARB/202850854?MERCH=REC-_-SearchPLPHorizontal1_rr-_-NA-_-202850854-_-N)

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Kind of a pain to install; pleased with the performance I was hoping that I'd be able to install in 1-2 hours, but I guess i'm not that handy. Having somebody to help would probably be wise. And also making sure to read the instructions very carefully certainly helps (I didn't realize I had skipped a step, and had to start over). Biggest issue was getting really small screwdrivers to fit in the small spaces that the fan required. Also trying to fit the remote transponder into the fixture, and then get the wires around it was not so easy. But i got it done eventually. Also, when I got to the very end, when I was screwing in the 3 lightbulbs, I realized that one of them didn't fit. The 3 are supposed to sort of overlap in a circle. But one of them was not angled enough to allow the bulb to fit; it simply went straight into the next bulb's socket. The good news is that the 800 number is manned by real humans, even on Saturday. So I got somebody to talk to (it was the 2nd time of the process), and she sent out a new light plate, which I received a week later. In the meantime, I did bend the socket down a few degrees so that the 3rd bulb was able to be screwed in. So now I have an extra light plate, just in case. Now that it's installed, I'm pleased with its performance. It's much quieter than the one I replaced. and has so far done exactly what it's supposed to do. Not sure why it was so cheap -- I paid $115 for it, when most fans I had shopped for a few months ago were in the $200 range. August 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ceiling fan purchase instructions for assembly could've been much more explicit. August 19, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Always change the remote settings Nice fan. Does everything we thought it would. Always change the remote settings. We purchased 2 different fans, but the factory remote settings were the same for both. Had a humorous (after the fact) back and forth with house guests as the fans kept mysteriously turning on and off by themselves. Had to disassemble one to change the settings after we figured out what the problem was. Otherwise no issues. July 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Was noisey but fixed it...love it now. Fan matched our bedroom decor perfectly. Problem was a "motor noise (hum)" that was driving me crazy for some time. Couldn't sleep because of it.. I tightened everything down real tight including the glass globe over the lights. Well to find out, by accident, the tighter I tightened the globe the louder the "hum" got. I removed the globe for cleaning and turned the fan on and walla...no noise! I replaced the globe tightening the three screws just tight enough to hold the globe in place and have had wonderful, quiet, cool sleeping conditions since. Absolutely love this fan. June 13, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Ceiling Fan This is a very nice, attractive and easy to install ceiling fan. A very good value and the quality and appearance are excellent. April 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice fan and easy install This was the first fan I installed and it was very easy. I highly recommend the fan and plan to buy 3 more for other bedrooms. I found putting the remote in place with the long wires from the fan was difficult but managed to get them all in there. January 21, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great So Far! The receiver is a little tricky to fit above the ceiling mount if you don't keep your wires nice and organized. My dimmable LED bulbs did not dim with this fan. The bulbs that are supplied did dim. The fan is very quiet, and looks great! It is very bright, and dims to a very low light. It was exactly what we were looking for (except for the LEDs not working, but I'll try another type of energy efficient bulb to see if that works). I bought 2 of these. Another thing... Right out of the package, I heard 2 screws rattling around the motor housing on one of my fans (the other one was fine). I had to turn it upside down and shake the 2 screws out of the housing. I guess they fell in there during the manufacturing process, and no one bothered to get them out. This kinda made me second guess installing the fan; but I did anyway... November 17, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great ceiling fan I had something similar to this one particular ceiling fan that's the only reason that I bought it. Now that I have it installed is the Best of the ones that have on ....doesn't move at all gives out good air flow through the living room . December 31, 2015
