First, kudos to Home Depot's shipping department - expected fan in 7-10 days ---arrived in 2 days! Fan fairly straightforward to install. I've installed @ 15 ceiling fans over the years and this was the first with a remote control. Read through instructions first and you will be fine. Looks great and operates very quietly.

I had an electrician install 3 of these fans in the bedrooms and they are beautiful. The electrician said they were excellent fans and easy to install.

Have just installed 3 of these fans --a little tight quarters fitting in the remote -- fan is quiet. No complaints so far. Satisfied

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Damon Looks good. Light dome is plastic though.
I bought this fan to replace an 8-year old Home Depot Bali model fan which was fine until my kids broke one of the blade arms with a ball in the house. Could not find a replacement blade arm any longer so had to scrap the whole fan. My advice: buy a spare blade arm whilst new. This new fan looks good installed in my 10 foot ceiling. Glad it is a 10 foot ceiling though otherwise the scratches inside the light dome would show. Scratches caused by the light bulbs in their rectangular cardboard packaging laying loose in the PLASTIC, yes plastic-not glass bulb housing during shipping. I'd of paid $10-$20 more for a glass light dome as it makes the fan seem cheap. Are you reading this in Atlanta?

I really like how these fans work and how they look. It's worth it to pay a little extra and get the remote control included with the fan. Chain-operated fans tend to break after awhile, because they have too many moving parts. It's very hard to add a remote later, after the fan has already been installed; essentially you have to take the entire thing apart and re-install it. I've never installed a fan before.
After I spent about an hour carefully studying the directions, I was able to put three of these fans together with no problem. However; if you're not familiar with electrical wiring, you might want to hire an electrician for that part.
