I am automating my home with the Wink Hub and I heard Hampton Bay was going to have an option for their fans to work with this soon. Will it be an add on option that I could use on existing fans such as this model, or will in just be built in on new model fans? I currently own 6 Hampton Bay fans in my home, including 2 of the Lyndhurst model. I really don't want to have to buy all new fans just to integrate them into my home automation.

Answer:
Thank you for your interest in the Lyndhurst fan. The Lyndhurst can not be custom ordered with Oak blades, but you can order the oak finish blades as a replacement item by calling customer service at 1-855-HD-HAMPTON (1-855-434-2678). The oak blade set can also be ordered online (model# 8239204902).

Answer:
Either an 18 inch or 24 inch downrod. My ceilings are 10' and I went with an 18 inch and there is still over 7' clearance between the floor and the bottom of the lights. I would probably get the 24 inch drop since your ceiling is higher.

Answer:
Thank you for your question. For an 11' 4" ceiling, we would suggest an 18" or 24" downrod. Any of the downrods sold at The Home Depot will be compatible as long as it is 3/4" (.75") in diameter.

Answer:
First and most important, you need to know the diameter of the downtown required. I think it's 3/4". It doesn't matter what company makes them all the threads are the same. I would go for 18" long.

I don't know what accu-arm is, but they were screwed on. Didn't need to balance it with little to no vibration.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Extremely satisfied the fan looks great in the room and we are pleased with the reversible blades. It works great. April 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome looking fan in my new kitchen I am in the process of remodeling my entire kitchen on my own (new oak cabinets, porcelain tile floor, granite counter top). The old ceiling fan had to go. I was looking for a fan which had reversible blade spin, flush mount, four lights and was easy to install. After researching online, I came across this Lyndhurst 52" fan in antique brass. It had all of the above. Installation was relatively easy especially if one follows the step by step instructions and some common sense. I would buy this again if I had another room requiring a ceiling fan. The four spiral bulbs that come with the light were a bit dim, so I replaced them with brighter lights. Now it is perfect. February 18, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Look great and delivered EARLY! The Fans arrived a day earlier than expected. They were undamaged. They met the specifications provided on line. The electrician had prewired 2 of the fans on dimmer switches and we had to change the bulbs because the ones provided flickered even on full power. These were not the quick install fans so they took a little longer to install but I purchase these because I wanted the antique brass for my decor. Very satisified. March 8, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great fan. Looks nice. We bought 3 fans recently and 1 a year or so ago. They're all great. Look nice. December 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by NICE LOOKING FAN I purchased the Lyndhurst 52" fan for my spare room. The 4 light fixtures are a plus because I needed more light for the room. Because of the frosted beige speckled shades, however, they cast the light a bit yellowish throughout the room. I find the CFL bulbs supplied are a bit blinding to look at. I plan on replacing them with 40 watt regular bulbs. The shades clip into the base of the light kit so there are no screws that show. My neighbor installed the fan for me and had no problems with the installation even though the room had a 3" round electrical box (I guess most homes have a 4" box). The fan is quiet, no balancing was required, and the three speeds of the fan work great. It looks very nice in the room. October 16, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great ceiling fan The fan was everything I wanted in quality and price. December 9, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Looks Beautiful, but Instructions Aren't Great Looks great once we finally got it installed, but for someone like me, the instructions were far too vague. I went online and watched some videos, but even at that the instructions felt incomplete and confusing. Still, once we got it up, it looks great and works perfectly. July 29, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Difficult to assemble This fan was much too difficult to assemble. I would expect HD to have super easy assembly for fans. November 3, 2015
