I am a General Contractor and use many types of flooring. This flooring is thick and really durable. It goes together really well and you don't have to separate the flooring to get the random look. The finished product looks amazing!

This floor looks absolutely gorgeous! Just put it down throughout our house and we love it! Looks great and has been very durable through our move in. Only reason not giving it five stars is it wanted to come apart if you weren't careful while laying it. Had to tear a few pieces apart to get to one that had come loose during the process. We had several times we had to do this. We laid this by hand though so a professional might not have this problem like we did.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Emily Beautiful floor! Just needs better packaging.
We have placed multiple orders of this floor to finish the floors in our entire house. While the floor looks stunning, every time we place an order there is always a few boxes that have edged dented or chipping. Some boxes come with both ends chipped so that the piece is not salvageable. If it is just one end you can often cut the bad end off and utilize it somewhere; however, if both ends come damaged it is a complete waste. I love the look of this floor and feel the pricing is fair; however, they need to put something hard around the corners of the wood inside the box to protect the edges of the flooring better.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Chukacabra Very happy with these floors. A great choice.
I installed these floors in the master bedroom about a year ago. They looked great then and they look great now.
I took time to pre-inspect the planks and I probably only had an issue with a few planks out of 15 cases. I think that seems like a very reliable level of the planks being in good condition upon pick-up. In 196 sq ft I only found one marble-sized chip. I'm not sure if that happened during shipping or installation. Point being that they came out of the box with consistent and attractive appearance and they installed easily enough that the floors still looked good once installed.
In the year they have held up very nicely. I would say they do not scratch easily but I don't have pets or kids. I did get a pair of matching thumb-nail sized scratches and they're fairly noticeable because the rest of the flooring is so shiny and looks so great (nice problem to have, quite frankly). FYI, I picked up a colored Minwax marker and one of the scratches, which was brown, now just looks like a knot in the wood-pattern so you can barely see anything. The other scratch, which was white, didn't take the marker yet so I'm still figuring that one out and still have a white splotch.
They floors are really easy to clean. I use a Bona mop thing and the specific Bona fluid and only do this every month or so. Most people remark about the floors when they walk into the room but they're so easy to keep clean. They look absolutely great and almost perfect even after year.
Overall I'm very happy with these floors after a year or so. I would recommend them and I will be buying more for my two other bedrooms. I don't know how well they would stand up to real heavy use because I'm very light on them. But they've been great for me. I think they have a great match of price, ease of install, durability, and appearance so they're doing great in a lot of ways with this product

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Seans keep liquid away from this flooring
the flooring looked beautiful for the week it was installed until my puppy had an accident and peed on the floor. i was gone for an hour and came home to the corners of the planks that were wet lifting up, leaving an area in the middle of the floor that is now ruined. i contacted hampton bay warranty department. they said this is not a manufacturer's defect because i did not clean it up right away. this means i have to pay my flooring installer to come back out to uninstall the flooring and replace the affected planks. i am very disappointed that they are selling a subpar product and saying that if it gets wet but not cleaned up right away, it is acceptable for the flooring to fall apart. i do not recommend this prodcut

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by SnoRida Looks great, but flawed design, and easily damaged.
I love the look of this flooring, but the wide gaps in between the planks are a problem - if they get wet at all, the material will bubble and warp, and the planks will need to be replaced. Also, the wide gaps allow the plank edges to chip easily. If the planks were closer together, neither of these things would be an issue.
This flooring has a 5 wear rating, and the laminated part of the flooring is definitely durable, but again, since the space in between the planks is not laminated, it is extremely susceptible to water damage and chipping. Spend the extra money and get better quality flooring, or make sure you buy lots of extra material. You're gonna need it.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DYI Beautiful floor!
The look of this floor is amazing! It has been 8 months since we installed this floor in my office and the ease of cleaning and durability is great thus far. However, it was very hard to install the floor due to the fact that the grooves were so small and very hard to click. I will suggest the company who manufactured this floor to lengthen the grooves to makes the installation easier. It was very frustrating to install it. If you can afford for a pro to install it, it will save you the headache-- for sure. At the end, it was worth it! Everyone loves the look of it!

My wife and I purchased this flooring a little over a year ago to put down in our bedrooms, hallway, and fireplace room. I have placed thousands of square feet of laminate flooring and usually recommend pergo brand flooring. Why i strayed from pergo in my own house is beyond me. Alot of flooring gets bad reviews simply because a lot of so called DYI people don't know what they are doing and struggle snapping it together. This particular flooring was rather simple in my opinion. The reason I am giving it 1 star and would not recommend this product is that it is simply not holding up. The micro bevel is a very attractive part of the flooring but I also believe it is part of our problem. If you look at the edges of our flooring you can see it beginning to delaminate at the edges and makes it look like a cheap sub par laminate floor. I can assure you that they have never been wet and we clean them with a damp lint free cloth followed by a dry lint free cloth so there is little to no moisture. I placed pergo in my parents house about 5 years ago and although i told my mom not to steam mop them she does weekly with no damage to the floors. They claim there is a 50 year residential warranty but you can forget about that as they are sure to find and issue with the installation or the way you clean them etc. and will void your warranty. For my wife and I this was one of those live and learn moments they tell you about, unfortunately it cost us 2 grand to learn! I will stay away from Hampton Bay flooring in the future.
