Marlton 52 in. Oil-Rubbed Bronze Ceiling Fan is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 45.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Elegant. Fan is a nice accent to the bedroom. Purchased two of them - one for each kid. We thought the fan was malfunctioning but later found out my son's remote also controlled his sister's fan. Relieved to know no ghosts were in the house and we needed to adjust the remotes. I agree with other reviewers in that the light is dim. But, the kids like them and it's nice to have the light dim enough to not stimulate them too much when it's close to bedtime.

Aesthetics of the fan looks great but the fan wobbles crazy at medium and high speeds. The installation was fairly easy for a DIY project if you have some knowledge of the electric connection. For a fan as expensive as this one, I would expect better build quality and stable rotation which isn't the case. Not recommended due to poor balancing of the fan.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ceiling fan Assembly wasn't as easy as presumed. And the light kit is not user friendly for changing the actual bulbs. The bulbs that are provided are also very dim. Wouldnt buy it again if i was paid to

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stylish and dim light ouput. The fan has a modern stylish look and puts out a lot of air. The installation was very easy, the only problem that i ran into was when the fan was on high it would wobble slightly. I used the balancing weights that came with the fan and that eliminated the wobble. What i don't like about the fan is how much light it puts out, i knew the light was going to be dim because of the white layer in the globe. But l did not think it was going to be this bad. Even after changing the bulbs to ones with a higher lumen rating the difference was not that noticeable. If you want a stylish and quiet fan for a room in your house this is it, but if you need that fan as a primary light source or even secondary source look elsewhere cause you will be disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Fan! This fan is very nice. It moves air very well. Its quiet. Its pretty. Its easy to install. Its a very good price for the money. However it says that its great for large rooms. Sure the air movement is great for large rooms but the light is SO dim. The room that I put it in is a medium room being 17'X17' and there is no where near enough light. I will have to try to go get a different watt bulb. Oh yeah I better add that the bulbs are not standard they're small candle type. Why I would recomend this to anyone who has additional lighting or alot of windows.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks great, works great and the price was right! I loved the look of this fan on line, Turns out that it is even better in person. Pretty straight forward installation and works great. I used a long (72") downrod as the ceiling is tall. Was a little concerned about shake and vibration on that long rod... but it is smooth and well balanced. I dinged it one star because the light uses small candelabra bulbs and is not bright. Otherwise it's perfect!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Looks great, sounds bad and poor amount of light The fan looks great, the style and color is what I wanted. There is a constant motor hum. It is not a rattle or screws not being tight. It is a motor hum. I use this in a home office so I do not have to try and sleep with it. The amount of light that gets through the thick glass is poor. I have to purchase additional floor lamps for the room this is in. Do not buy it for its lighting value it is not there. The installation of the glass for the light is a pain. Not very well thought out. I would not buy this again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average fan Fan looks fine from the floor, but like everything else these days is built with extremely cheap parts. Install attempt 1 - bent body, wobbly fan. Had to uninstall, drive to HD, exchange, then re-install. Install 2 - Not wobbly, but one of the contacts in the light kit (main feed) wasn't crimped in. Not a huge deal to fix, but troubleshooting/finding the issue at the tail end of an install that should've been done over an hour ago was a pain in the rump Based on other reviews I was prepared for the light to be dim. I was not prepared for it to be this dim. Most ceiling fans have frosted glass that covers the bulbs. The glass that covers the bulbs in the Marlton appears to have a coat of white spray paint on the inside. That paint really blocks the light. Here's the nice things I can say about it: Looks nice The fan is quiet
