Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Greg Sturdy set but...
I agree with the one person who commented about the chairs. They do have back slats that have been welded into place--there are holes in the welds and rain water fills the chair slats and legs--rusty water drains out onto the seat cushions and onto the patio floor.
I noticed myself the underneath each slat is a hole for water to drain which I think is kind of dumb. If the chairs were manufactured better, there would be no reason of drain holes in the slats. They have made a mess of our concrete patio. Luckily, we don't keep the cushions on there chair so that hasn't been an issue.

Hampton Bay has some of the most well thought out, high end ,around the home products on the market. I haven't found another brand that meets the same level of quality each and every time. This 5 piece patio set is no exception! The set comes in two large (and heavy!) boxes, one with the four chairs the other with the table.
Unboxing and assembly took about 30 minutes to complete. The majority of the work is getting the packaging off of chairs, which are very well packed. The table top and legs are the only parts requiring assembly and the tools are included.
This is a versatile set and you can easily put this indoors or outside. As it's still January I will enjoy this inside for the time being!
The table and chair frames are made of a metal but look as if they are distressed wood. The seat cushions are thick and very comfortable. This set has the quality and build of materials that just feels like it is going to last a long time. Thank you Hampton Bay!

I have a small backyard maybe 600 sq ft. The table and chairs don't just fit in the space but looks great too. A great fit, in functionality and comfort.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by msd very nice outdoor set with heavy duty construction and durable finish
First the positives - I am quite satisfied with the style and construction of this metal outdoor dining set. The table has strong legs and heavy duty leg mounts, and the chairs have strong welds and legs in a very pleasing style. The cushions have zipper covers for cleaning or repair, perhaps to replace foam after long outdoor exposure if needed. They attach to the chairs via a couple of Velcro fasteners.
The negatives - Home Depot freight company, whomever shipped this, did their best to destroy the set. The main box was totally ripped open, the leg on one chair was bent over 3 inches. I was able to work the leg to a usable angle, but would seriously have thought about returning the set due to damage. Obviously whomever shipped it could care less about product damage. Too bad because this is the impression a buyer gets of the retailer when receiving product and Often this impression lasts.
I have attached a few pictures to show why I like the construction of the set - The welds are of good quality and hopefully the pictures show it. The material seems to be a galvanized steel so outdoor performance should be very good.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by disappointedshopper987 Good, Solid Product
This product came wrapped well, no issues. It appeared to have a couple of scratches, but after further investigation, that is just the design. It is a rustic set, not a smooth shiny set, which works better for me as I have 2 & 4 year old grandsons, so dirty fingerprints do not show up as easily. The color does not look like the picture, however. the picture seems a brownish color with beige cushions but they are indeed black with greyish cushions. Overall, I love the set. Supereasy to assemble and it is holding up well, even with little ones.

This is a very good outdoor table and chair set. The color is actually black with a distressed look to it. Initially when I unpacked it, I thought the chair legs had been scratched, but then I realized the entire set has that finish. The chairs arrived assembled and the table was very easy to put together. I had no difficulty aligning the screws with the pre-drilled holes. I am a single girl and had the entire table ready in about 15 minutes.
The table is not too heavy which I feel is an advantage for me to move it around by myself, although, that is why I only gave it 4 stars on quality. It is not as solid or heavy as I anticipated. I do believe that the workmanship is reflected in the price, as this was very affordable compared to similar models.
I will say that I only received three out of the four cushions. Home Depot and Hampton Bay were extremely helpful with this and had my fourth cushion shipped to my home within one week of my calling customer service. The cushions are nice and deep and moderately firm. I believe they will hold up nicely.

We placed our order online for store pick up. It arrived earlier than expected and it fit without problem in the back of our SUV with seats folded down. The assembly was very simple and quick. Good thing as we were expecting company and managed to enjoy outside seating in a flash. The deep seat cushions are very comfortable and offer excellent support for lounging and hanging out.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Jordan Great-looking but a glaring design flaw -- returned product
Great-looking, well-made set that is the perfect size for a small-to-medium sized deck. That said, there are small holes on the underside of each slat that make up the back of the chairs. After light and heavy rains, the metal fills with water, and then drains down the side of the chairs onto the deck. This water was bright orange because it was rusty, and thus stained the deck and the clothing of anyone leaning against it. The table has the same poor feature, and the entire set will be returned tomorrow. It's really a shame as the quality of the table and chairs is great. They are very sturdy and great looking, but this is one flaw that is non-negotiable.
