Rated 5 out of 5Â by Frindge Nice quiet fan, easy installation
I purchased this ceiling fan for our kitchen. After installation I found it to be very noisy, the motor hummed and it was unacceptable to me and my wife. The switch controlling the ceiling fan was a light dimmer switch, not a variable speed switch made for a motor. I replaced the light dimmer switch with a non-dimmer switch. Now the ceiling fan is one of the quietest that I have ever installed. An excellent value but make sure you don't have a light dimmer switch controlling it or you will hate it and also it will burn out the motor and could cause a fire.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by Anne Fan blades are not cherry!
Please be aware that even though the description says the blades are "Maple and Cherry", both blade sides are a lighter maple color. It seems like the only difference between the two sides is in the grain pattern. All of the wood in our house is darker cherry wood, so the fans are going to be returned.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Hushpuppy I Love This Fan
I purchased this fan to replace an old horribly noisy one in the samll bedroom I use as a home office. It's not whisper quite like the Hunter ceiling fans in the rest of my house, but what little hum there is, is hard to detect. My husband installed it for me and said he was impressed by how easy it was to install compared the to last ceiling fan he put up. Overall a good fan at a good price

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Kelly Big breeze
There were a lot of parts to put together and that took a long time. You have to do everything in the exact order or else start over. Once it's up it creates a great breeze.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Jimvh3 bought two, both are great!
I am not a handyman. However, even I could install these with ease. Read the directions, and follow along. Too easy. Installed two in each of the kids rooms. They are quiet, and create a great breeze on the warm summer days. Highly recommend them.
