Currently, it's my wife and I and our two boys so we have plenty of room. I do think that you could seat six comfortably without squeezing in.

Answer:
No, they can't. The three pieces require the support of each other for full support. The corner section only has middle supports at the front and back so it definitely needs the end pieces to hold it upright.

No. The corner piece needs to be attached to the other 2 sections. From what I remember when I put mine together the corner piece only has 2 legs because it attaches to one side for the rest of the support it needs

The way it is designed, it must be bolted together as one unit. It is not modular. You would definitely need at least 8 feet for each side. Hope that helps.

Yes, It is very heavy and cumbersome once assembled. You might however put some of those easy glide things under the feet which might make it easier to move.

I would say two guys can move it fairly easily but it's awkward and the L-shaped that it's in doesn't come apart once you've bolted it altogether very easily

This is a concern that I do have regarding the set. I don't think that moving off the deck will be an easy answer without at least a three-person effort. However, if your deck is large enough, it is relatively easy to slide around as needed for cleaning.

My husband assembled this set and yes it is heavy, high quality made. We were able to carefully move it to the other side of the deck after assembly. It shouldn't be hard to move to clean. You would need to be very careful as not to break the attachments that hold this set together. This is a large set and care must be taken. Although, I WOULD NOT SUGGEST moving it off a deck to clean.

Answer:
Thank you for your question, Anna! It is heavy, as there are three very large pieces bolted together. So lifting it up would be difficult but sliding it over would work. When you take the cushions off you can see through the slats. So another option might be to leave it place, take off the cushions, and use a duster to sweep underneath.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 150 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by An an entirely new back deck! This outdoor sectional set is amazingly comfortable and was very easy to assemble. I recommend having a helper, to eliminate a small bit of challenge with lining up bolt holes. I echo many of the other reviewers, in that the most difficult part of assembling this, is actually getting it all out of the packaging. Pay the extra money to have the delivery company unpack and haul all the cardboard away. You'll be happy you did. The cushions are firm but comfortable, with thick shams to withstand the weather. We paired ours with the 7 piece outdoor dining set, and it has transformed our back deck into an entertaining (and relaxing) oasis. (See the photo) Sitting on this patio sectional with a cool beverage in hand during a warm summer evening is exactly the way a weekend should be spent. July 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Backyard Oasis This sectional is perfect. We're so pleased with the thickness of the cushions and the overall comfort. We added our own touches to make it colorful and inviting. We've received so many compliments on how beautiful it looks. It's turned our patio into our very own oasis retreat. Awesome! July 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sectional Happiness I am so happy with this sectional. Sturdy, great looking, easy to assemble. Seriously what took the longest was unpacking it out of the three boxes it came in, it was packed really well. Assembly took maybe 1/2 an hour. I loved that it came with 6 pillows (I purchased 3 colorful pillows to add to it). It is large enough for two adults to nap on comfortably. I thought this sectional was priced very reasonably. Patio furniture is so expensive! This could easily be a $2500 sectional because of it's quality and look. I highly recommend. May 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Outdoor patio conversation pit Not hard to assemble. Took two of us about an hour to assemble. Very sturdy construction. Wish the fabric was a little darker because it shows all dirt. We keep it covered in a sheet to protect the fabric because the dog is enjoying the patio furniture as much as we are. October 15, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Mixed review The product is sturdy and beautiful. However, it is very difficult to keep it clean. We are constantly bringing all 19 cushions inside, as there is no cover available. If I had a cover that fit well, I would keep it on instead of constantly moving all the cushion. September 27, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Better than expected! Sturdy, beautiful and comfy! What more could you ask for? October 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Solid piece of furniture Took approximately 2 hours to assemble alone but definitely would have gone much quicker with a second pair of hands. Very sturdy build and not with the purchase at all. September 27, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Next to impossible to get the cushions clean! I love the look of this sofa, but for an outdoor sofa with outdoor fabric, it's next to impossible to get the cushion covers clean. My sofa is on a well-covered screened porch, protected from weather. I've only had it for 2 years and can't believe how dirty my cushions, especially the ottoman, have become. I've tried to remove covers to wash, but as other reviews say, it's extremely challenging to even get the covers off the cushion, let alone get them back on once wet! While I still like the sofa, the dirtier the cushions, the less satisfied I am with this item. Called Home Depot and only suggestion they had was to call Hampton Bay. It's a lot of money for a lot of hassle, in my opinion. August 13, 2016
